LEVI'S POV
"Seoyeon?" I whispered under my breath as I stood up.
"L-Levi..." she said between her sobs.
I was just standing with my mouth agape when she came running towards me and gave me a tight hug. I was out of words as I glanced at Adalee. She was gulping as she slowly managed to stand.
Clenching her fist so hard that she almost crumpled the handkerchief like a paper, she uttered, "I'm... I'm l-leaving."
She turned her back, but before she could be able to take a step, I said, "Adalee... please—" She cut me off.
She said, "I'll r-return the h-handkerchief tomorrow. See y-you."
She didn't even bother herself to turn her head back. It felt like I was defeated of some sort when I had nothing to do, but to watch her leaving the hall.
I wanted to follow her, but I just couldn't leave Seoyeon like this, crying. I badly wanted to chase her and tell her what I feel, but Seoyeon needed me. Damn it

I remained turning the pages of the book from beginning to end, then from the end back to the first page."Something happened?""I'm not sure.""Are you okay?""Do I look like okay?""What's wrong with you?""I don't know.""Really?""Yeah.""How many hands do you have?""Ten—oh
LEVI'S POVExploring my own dreams was an exciting for me to do, and just as the moment I realized that it was a dream, I didn't feel any fear at all. It was probably around 3 in the morning, and I was right as I glanced at my wristwatch.I was standing in the middle of an old road with no sight of coming vehicles nor houses around. There were no street lights except for one broken lamp post near me, seemed like the place was abandoned. It was airy and eerie, and the moment that a cool breeze blew down on me, I hugged myself. Only the little light coming from the moon made me see a little what was around."Hello?" I called, but no one answered. I took small steps as I brushed my shoulders."Does anyone hear me?" I called once more, but still, no one replied. I was like walking in an endless road with nothing to see, but just blackness."What am I doing here?" I mumbled to myself, thinking why
LEVI'S POVI turned my head to the window on my right side where I could see the students passing by through its transparent surface—a boy and a girl with elated faces holding each other's hands while walking on the school hallways. My lips twitched as I got myself back to the book I was currently reading."Aren't they aware that doing PDA should not be seen around the campus? They're obviously violating the 500-meter-away rule from school campus! How annoying!" I mumbled to myself as I turned the book's page next."Ige mwoya?" What's that?I glanced at Caius; my seatmate, buddy, and my dormmate. His eyebrows arched and his neck was getting long by looking outside the window as he asked me in Korean which I had come to memorize its Filipino translation. He would ask me that question everytime he would feel curious—no—much more like being a gossip monger."Stop asking me in Korean, will you?" I whined."Aigo
LEVI’S POV“Stop playing like a kid, will you?” I scolded Caius after he got a low score with the exams we took yesterday.“Ne, alget seum nida abeoji,” Yes, I understand, father, he said teasingly, bowing his head.“Crazy.”I rolled my eyes.“Kidding!” He chuckled, then looked over his test paper. “I guess it’s not that bad to get a low score at times.”“Do whatever you want. Tss.”“Hi!”We turned our head to the hallway when Adalee suddenly drew near us.“Oh, the other pair of the broken heart.”I turned to Caius. He was smiling from ear to ear as if it was the funniest joke he ever threw at me.I glared at him.“Why? I’m just saying. She’s the piece that completes you, right?” he said.“You talk too much. Just go!”&

LEVI’S POV“Where’s Adalee?” Caius asked.I hemmed and hawed because of his sudden question.“W-why?” I asked as I packed my things up. The day just ended again. Time to go home from school.“I’m just asking, but why are you stuttering?” he asked in a teasing tone as he tried to look at my face.“W-why?” I snorted. “She went home already, I g-guess? Darn it! W-who knows? Why are you asking me? I don’t know!”I raised my voice as I immediately marched outside the room and left him still arranging his belongings. That gossip monger!“Hey! Oh, seriously! Please wait!” he yelled, but I didn’t bother myself to wait for him.“Why? Am I not allowed to ask you anymore? I’m just curious! Why did you helped her? Hey, Levi!” he dragged on, but I just ignored him.Adalee was keep poppin
LEVI’S POVBefore You Go by Lewis Capaldi“I fell by the wayside like everyone else. I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, but I was just kidding myself. Our every moment, I start to replace. ‘Cause now that they’re gone, all I hear are the words that I needed to say.”I was singing while I was breaking the shell of an egg. I was cooking some sunny-side up egg, fried rice, and hotdog for breakfast.“When you hurt under the surface like troubled water running cold. Well, time can heal, but this won’t,” I hummed.“What’s that?” I heard Caius’ voice from behind as well as his footsteps towards the kitchen, but I didn’t mind him.“Ugh, my head! I think I drank too much last night,” he whined.“So, before you go, was there something I could’ve said to make your heart beat better? If only

LEVI'S POVThe moment the three left the hall, slowly, I inched towards Adalee.Scratching my nape as I moved a little more closer to her, I asked, "Are you... are you okay?" My voice was breaking the silence. She tilted her head as she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. Her eyes and nose were red, probably because of crying, and I felt guilty for a second."I'm... I'm okay," she mumbled, sniffing and rubbing her nose.I slid my hand inside my pocket, fishing for my handkerchief. I said, "Here."Offering her my handkerchief was a little help for her nose.Stretching her arm, she took it and started blowing her nose. Seeing her, a smile suddenly wanted to appear on my face. I just bit my lower lip to stop myself and said, "Stop crying already. I didn't bring any extra handkerchief for your nose."Blowing her nose hard for the last time, she forced a smile. "I'm s-sorry. I messed up... with your handker

He was sitting near the door, browsing his phone."Pino?" I called him.He instantly walked towards me as he slid his phone back inside his pocket."You're awake. How are you feeling?""Oh. I’m... I’m okay,” I answered. “But where’s Levi?”"Ah, Levi... um..."Rubbing both of his hands with his face crumpled, it was telling me that there was something wrong.I frowned and asked, "Why? Where is he?""He is... he's at the hall. He called an urgent meeting again.""Why? Don't tell me..." Slowly, he nodded. It’s because of me.I stood up and grabbed his shoulders. "Let's go there," I told him."Are you sure, you'
LEVI’S POV“How’s Caius?” Pino asked when he arrived at the clinic.“He’s fine. It’s good that he’s calm and resting now,” I answered.“He’s a Linonophobe.”We both turned our head to the school nurse who were just done checking up on Caius. I ended up bringing him here at the clinic because he looked so pale. He’s now resting and asleep.“Yes, probably,” I said as I nodded.Pino asked, “A Linonophobe?”“It’s the fear of strings,” I answered.“He only fear the rope, right?” the nurse asked, putting the stethoscope around her neck.“That’s right,” I replied and glanced at Caius who’s sleeping on the bed at my right side.“Linonophobes usually have no problems wearing clothes, but shoes with laces may be a problem and they may prefer leathe
LEVI’S POV“Are you mad?” I said, almost raising my voice. I stopped from walking and turned to her.She halted and tilted her head to face me.“I’m not the one who’s mad here. It’s you!” she yelled back, almost giving me a glare which was a surprise to me.“W-why are you s-shouting?” I asked.“You’re the first one who raised your voice here!”“So, you’re mad?”“I’m not!” she denied keeping a strong gaze against me.“So why are you shouting?”Instead of giving me an answer, she turned her back at me which made me realiz that we were in front of our classroom.Everyone was watching us, looking confused and surprised. Adalee didn’t mind and entered the room straight to her t
LEVI’S POV"I know right," I replied as I grabbed both of our school bags, then paid our drinks.“I can’t walk properly, right? What happened, Levi? Did I d-damaged my b-brain already?” he asked as I helped him walked outside the bar.He was struggling from walking so I had to help him. His white uniform was stained already, his hair was greasy, and his actions were slow and clumsy.“Let me see,” I uttered. “Difficulty in walking, blurred vision, red cheeks, impaired memory... yes, I guess.”“Jinjjayo?” Really? he asked and looked at me. He suddenly caressed my face with his both hands.“Neomu kyeopta!” So cute! he yelled as he pinched my cheeks.“Hey!” I shouted and removed his hands away from my face. “Are you insane?”“Mianhae,” Sorry, he barely whispered before he totally passed out.“Ugh!” I had nothing to do, but to carry him on my back. After all, he was like a younger brother to me, so I had to take care of him.I left the place and started to walk back to the dorm. It was jus
LEVI’S POV"S-Seo... S-Seoyeon?" I uttered when our lips parted. I was stiffed by the sudden shock that the kiss gave me."Um... I'm sorry. It's supposedly a kiss on your cheek, but you suddenly turned around so..." she said as she swayed her body, biting her lip as if she was trying to be cute in front of me."It's o-okay... I m-mean...it's an accident."I simply turned to Adalee and I gulped the moment I saw how she nearly crumpled her sketpad."Why... why are you here, S-Seoyeon?" I asked Seoyeon when I looked at her again. What the hell was going on, Levi? Why would it need to have a scene like this?"I-I'll just go o-outside. E-excuse me," Adalee said as she inched outside the room."Adalee... ugh!"I scratched my head as I tried to calm myself. I had nothing to do, but to watch Adalee walked away.I couldn't leave Seoyeon like this after what had happened to her last
