Vera's POV

I thought I would have time to convince myself that everything was going to be okay but I didn't.

I found out the dinner was tomorrow and I was freaking out.

What if his family didn't like me,

What if they hated red heads

Basically I was an anxious mess.

Lexi had tried severally to convince me that I was just worrying for no reason and she was sure they would love me but I couldn't take her words for it.

I would have to meet his two uncles from his father's side , their kids and wives.

Julius's mother was an only child but her mother was coming as well.

So I had a lot of people to try and please..

"You're worrying for nothing doll.

I'm sure they would love you, you don't have to try too hard"

Julius spoke so comfortably as he snacked on some popcorn I held in my hand.

We were watching a movie trying to get my mind off the fact that the dinner was in the next 3 hours.

I sat between his open legs backing him while his head was rested on mine as he stole my popcorn
