Julius's POV

"What the fuck happened! "

Aldonis was the first person I met in the living room after practically driving home like a maniac.

"She's upstairs boss"

It was killing me how he didn't say anything ,but I didn't have time to strangle him right now .

My heart raced and I needed to make sure Vera was okay.

I rushed into my room to see Lexi seating beside Vera on the bed.

I looked at Vera as she was sitted under the covers looking sick.

I rushed over to her dropping everything from my suit jacket to my keys on the chair on my way to her

"Doll what happened? "

I took Lexi's position as she left the room to give us some privacy.

I cupped her face in my hands and her temperature was high

"It's nothing.

I just fainted all of a sudden.

The doctor said it was something I ate and there was a weird unknown substance on my tongue from earlier "

Poison

I had seen something like this before.

She must have been poisoned and I know it.

I wasn't going to tell her she had been poison
