The first time Lyra escaped the phrontistery at Crescent Pack shealmost got lost.
A phrontistery was a place where high ranked young werewolves schooled. There was only seven phrontistery in the world. One located in each continent.
Lyra’s pack, the Moonstone pack, was situated in West Virginia, United States, North America. The Crescent Pack was the pack in North America that had a phrontistery. It was located in New York, United States, North America.

“Lyra” She had her Dad call her as he followed her back to her room. The quietness that followed after his voice showed that the two men who were at their living room had left.
“Lyra” he muttered again.
She spun around on her feet and stared at him. “Dad, can I be alone for the next few minutes, I need some time to process this news”
After staring at her for a while, with worry written all over his face, he nodded and walked away, shutting the door to her bedroom.
As soon as he was gone, Lyra threw herself on her bed and screamed into her pillow. Obviously, her Dad would hear her, but he would know she was screaming into her pillow in an attempt to relieve her stress.
The words of her Dad rang in her head again.
“There are two Alpha’s ruling the pack Lyra. Thus, the pack is divided into two factions, Jaspers faction and Callum’s faction. Both are at rivalry. The peace and rest of our pack rests on your shoulders Lyra. You are to select the right Alpha. And I suggest you do that rightly and quickly, or you would be putting the pack in jeopardy under a wrong leadership.”
How did it happen?
Two Alphas?
She has to pick?
What happened to the moon goddess giving to each and everyone a mate?
How did her leaving for the phrontistery at the Crescent Pack turn her into being the “Merlin” of her Camelot; Moonstone pack?
The questions kept running through her head. Just then, a soft knock rang through the silent air in her room.
“Come on in” she whispered as she sat up properly on the bed.
“Hi” her Dad whispered as he came in.
“Hi, what's up”
“Are you good?” he asked as his eyes scanned her face for any hint of something that would show she wasn’t good.
“Yeah, I'm good” she said as she shifted to create a space on the bed for her Dad to sit.
“Okay,” her Dad started as he walked to sit beside her. “One of the Alphas are here to see you, I could tell him to go if you are not in the mood. I know your head must be a rollercoaster of questions and confusion, but I could tell him_”
“Rollercoaster?” She interrupted him with a surprised expression. “You know what a rollercoaster is? Is there a rollercoaster here? C’mon, I did not spend that long time at the Crescent Pack for y'all to have grown up and be so civilized and modern.”
“_tell him that you can't see him yet because you are not good. Take your time Lyra” her Dad finished, ignoring her words.
Lyra sighed and stood up. “C'mon Dad, I'm twenty years old, not your ten years old little girl anymore, I'm good”
Her Dad stood up just as quickly as she did. She realized that he was on edge. He looked nervous. She felt he must have been shaken up by the presence of the Alpha in their house looking for his daughter
He walked ahead of her, into the living room.
“Where is he?” Lyra asked as she stepped into the living room.
“I didn't invite him in, I thought you would not want to see him yet.”
Lyra rolled her eyes and walked to the door, just as she was about to open it, the door flung open and a delicious scent hit her.
Just as she was beginning to bask in the intoxicating scent, her eyes met his familiar blue ones.
At the sight of the eyes, her breath caught and she mustered a word. “J?”

Lyra had just been craving a particular raspberry and white chocolate cupcakes. It was the week were they abstained from every non vegan food, but Lyra being Lyra always gets what she wants.
She sneaked out of her dorm and headed towards Tyler's corner. Whenever she wanted to do something illegal, Tyler was her buddy, her partner in crime.
She had met him on her first sneak out. She had no idea where to go, he helped her find her way and now he became her closest friend.
Unfortunately for her, that fateful day, Tyler was nowhere to be found. She had searched for him and in the process, gotten lost.
As she tried to find her way back home, she met a gruesome sight of Tyler being beaten up by two guys.
Bullies
Lyra detested them. It was Lyra’s reflex to homo into action and save him. She was strong after all, she had spent few years in thephrontistery. Her fighting game was good.
She had underestimated them and now it was her turn to be beaten up.
As heavy blows and kicks rained on her, she struggled to breath and fight back, just when she had lost strength to fight back, they stopped.
Thud
She flipped her eyes open as she saw the two guys thrown on the floor, meters away from her.
She looked up to see her savior. His blue eyes was what caught her eyes.
“Hi” he said extending a hand for her. She was lost in his eyesthat it took her a while to realize that he was extending his hands to help her up.
She ignored it and stood up on her own. Dusting her dress, she sighted Tyler’s unconscious body at a distance and rushed to him.
As soon as she got to him, he coughed up blood and woke up. She helped him up, ignoring the piercing gaze of the stranger.
“Jasper?” Tyler croaked out.
The confusion on her face turned into one of realization as it dawned on her that the duo knew each other.
She knew she had to thank him for saving her ass back there, but she was a proud girl. She hated being beaten up, especially in front of someone she fancied.
Yeah, she knew she was attracted to him and she would not deny it.
She turned to him, staring into his eyes, with a deep breath, she muttered. “Thank you”
Just as she thanked him, Tyler staggered in her arms, making her to lose balance.
Jasper was at her side in an instant supporting her just before she stumbled to the floor. She could not understand the way her nerve ends lit up like electric sparks and fireworks were crackling within her.
Who the hell was this? And why was he affecting her this much?
“J?”“Lyra?” the man muttered too, shock written on his face. Both stared at each other for quite a while enjoying the intoxicating scents of each other while being lost in each others eyes. The chemistry, arousal and sexual tension was thick in the air.One could even taste it.Lyra’s Dad knew better than to let them continue their ogling.“Hm-hm” he cleared his throat. “You know each other?”“Yes” Lyra said breaking the stare. I met him back at the New York. The Crescent Pack.“You did?” her Dad said as he stepped forward in between them staring hardly at Jasper.“You were not supposed to see her or meet her until today. You know the rules” her Dad gritted, annoyance seeping through his words.“Davies” Jasper started as he stepped forward hoping the act would calm Lyra’s Dad. “I had no idea who she was when we met”“Dad, what do you mean rules?” Lyra said ignoring their dialogue.“Both Alphas are not meant to see you nor have any thing to do with you until you return.”“Why?”“Becaus
“Lyra” a deep baritone voice resonated in the room pulling Lyra out of her reverie. His dominance and intimidating aura was palpable. She closed her eyes, attempting to calm herself. It seemed as though a hard task, as she could not stop herself from perceiving his intoxicating scent. She turned to her Dad, opening her eyes. “I'm guessing, he is Callum” she muttered trying to ignore his effect on her.“Alpha Callum” her Dad corrected bowing his neck in reverence to Callum.“Lyra Anderson” Callum began. “I am really sorry for what happened between the two pack members. It was never my intention to send any person to come here to get you.”Lyra nodded at him. She felt like she was placed in an awkward position as she didn't know what to do.“If it would pacify you, he would be disciplined for that” he added.Although he looked calm and poised, his face not revealing any expression, Lyra could see it in his eyes that he was truly sorry.“Disciplined? Don't you think that is too much?” Ly
“Everything doesn’t seem right,” Jasper muttered to himself. He was sitting on the floor of a small room in what had once been his home—a single room with no windows or furniture but for a bed and table that he'd found in the basement. The place smelled like mold and mildew, though it hadn't always. It smelled like life, until everything went wrong. He was cold and angry; the only happiness he could think of was that of Lyra’s.The thoughts of her filled him with warmth, which helped to banish some of his anger. But that didn't help much when there was a knock on the door. He walked to the door and found a member of his pack lying at the foot of the door. He opened the door widely and sighed. "Don't get up.""I should have died," she said, her voice weak. She tried to sit up but couldn't manage more than a few inches.Jasper didn't answer; he just watched her.She coughed. "You need to tell me what happened." He said. She shook her head. "Not yet." He stood for some time and then wal
First it was the sound of chaos. Noise. A chaos which Lyra was able to make out to be dancing, singing and sounds of drums from a distance.“What's going on?” Lyra asked with worry filled eyes.“Miss Lyra,” her chauffeur, the man driving her said. “The pack members are in high spirit because of your return”She looked out the window. She was seated in a white Lamborghini while her chauffeur drove. The scenery of the pack looked the same even though lots of things had changed. It was still a dense subtropical region. Bushes, trees and plants surrounding them with an open path filled with dried leaves where Lyra and the chauffeur drove on.Unlike humans, werewolves loved to live in dense forests. After all, they were still part animals. As he drove, she noticed the scenery getting less dense. It was like they were getting to the city. She could see houses surrounded with minimal trees. Tarred roads. It seemed like she was entering the Crescent Pack, the one she had just left.“Woah...”
