I felt stupid because no one could definitely do what I did back at the office.
I mean, I didn’t even know this guy?
He wasn’t my boyfriend or fiancée. We weren’t in any relationship. Then why did I get angry at him fucking that blonde woman.
Why did I beat her?
Why did I feel hurt at the sight of their naked bodies entangled together?
Why did he call me mate?
Why couldn’t I leave there on time?
Why did I feel hurt when he saw me leaving and told me to come back?
There is only one conclusion to all this and it is a three-letter word.
I – am – insane.
No, really? Yeah.
Calily snaps me to reality by massaging the injuries I had gotten from the earlier fight.
“Aww, Calily? That’s hurts.” I cried out in pain clenching my legs in anger. My balancing six-inches heels sprawled on the floor. I had kicked it off in anger thanks to the scene I saw earlier.
Still… I didn’t know why I felt butterflies form in the pit of my stomach when I thought of that dickhead, Luca Marino.
“Mind if you tell me what happened?” she asked again in desperation. I just didn’t want to tell her. It sounded like a behavior only a psycho would do. She kept her head up high in interest but I hissed.
“I’ve told I fell, period.” I lied smoothly. I hoped my knee didn’t jerk because it did anytime I told a lie. And she knew which made her look at me, suspiciously.
“Then why are you jerking your knees? We both know you do that when you are lying.” she said confidently.
This girl has known me for only 5 years and she knew my personality. Why?
“It’s your imagination, Cal. Stop imagining things.” My knees gave out again jerking as I withdrew my foot from her and sit like I’m doing yoga. She eyes me suspiciously.
“Serena? is there something you’re not telling me?” Calily asked as she slices some cucumber for her eyes. She liked her beauty treatment and me? Well… I never cared.
“No, there isn’t. Wait, do you think I’m lying?” I asked her curiously trying to convince her but it didn’t look like it.
“As a matter of fact, I do. What type of fall in a perfect office leaves you open wounds like this?” she hurriedly asked, standing up and stretching as she rolls her eyes dramatically.
Okay, she got me.
Time to spill out my craziness.
“Fine, Calily. I’ll confess.” I grunted out. She immediately bounced on the love seat with her legs in the air and her hair flying. She loved anything that had a little gist in it.
“So, tell me, was it sex at first sight?” she deliriously asked as I covered my face in frustration and groan out loud.
“Can you just let me and talk?” I said, cringing my nose at her.
She briefly laughed picking at her fingers and drawing nearer to me.
“Distance, girl. You are preventing me from focusing .” She shifted back a little.
“Start already!” she exclaimed as I fidget with my skirt. Skirts weren’t really my thing after years of stripping.
“That’s it. I don’t know where to begin from?” I spat out. Where do I start from?
How I was ushered in by bulky guards or how I caught two naked bodies in act?
“Begin from anywhere, girl. This is not a folktale competition. Just spill it.” she told me, glinting teeth as she made her blonde hair into a French plait.
“Okay. When I arrived, I was ushered in because of the VVIP card you gave me.” I said.
“Yeah, so?”
“That leads to me asking for him. The guy you directed me to…” I trailed out, explaining.
“Okay, what about him?” she asked looking out for more.
“He turned out to be that same guy at the strip club who made me lose my job, Calily. His name’s Luca Marino and I was shocked at what I saw when I got to his office” I said.
“What did you see?” She asked intensified. It was like she looked scared that I saw something supernatural.
“I- I caught him fucking a woman and being paranoid bitch. . . I fought that woman." I spilled.
"I broke that barbie doll. I don’t know why the hell I did that. I just went at her likewewereinarelationship” I uttered, adding the last part fast.
I didn’t want her to her to hear. Judging by her facial expression, she looked shocked and a bit relieved.
“You did all that?” she asked me narrowing her eyes as she sniffed me.
“Okay, Calily. You’re being weird, why are you sniffing me like some dog?” I asked as I withdrew my hand. She doesn’t reply me which is unlike her as she opens her mouth, yawning.
“I told you that you’ll be compatible with that man, Serena. Stop fighting it.” she finally commented.
“How does that link to the fact that I saw him having sex with some lady? Urrgh! My eyes are scarred for life.” I complained immediately, bringing my hands up to my face.
“It links because you broke that ‘barbie doll’. Aren’t you listening to yourself, Serena? You did what people do when they’re jealous. Guy just had blue balls, girl. You like this guy.” she announced.
“Yeah, I also think you should date James.” I taunted. James is her co-worker. He disturbs her everyday but she claimed he didn’t have the spice she wanted and slightly hates him for being so persistent.
It irritated her as she gawked her arms at my neck playfully strangling me.
“C-C-Stop it, Calily. I’m just saying. You’re not his wife, are you?” I asked her. I realize something.
Shit.
What have I done?
It’s a general belief that men mostly came to the club to forget their spouses.
What if that woman was actually his wife?
No, no, no.
What if I had fought his wife?
“Calily. . . let go. I need to be somewhere important.” I sprung up from the loveseat, slipped on my high heels, took my jacket and pulled my jet-black hair in a loose bun.
That woman I pounced on with all my strength, what if she was Luca’s wife?? I think I’m about to have a panic attack.
Calily looked lost for words as I slammed the door at her face.

Serena EspositoIt was the funeral of a very important figure. Someone who meant the whole world to us all.Sasha.Everyone was clothed in black for the funeral. Luca held my hands and hugged me whenever I needed comfort. My baby girl, Blossom was in my mum's arms. She sat right beside me.I had named her Blossom because, somehow, in spite of the war, she was able to blossom her way out. I mean she survived. And, Luca had supported me on the conditions that he'll give her another name.Francesca and Francesco were beside each other too. So far, Francesca had changed. Francesco didn’t go out with his gangs anymore.Dad was beside them. He gave me a supportive look from time to time. King elf even attended the burial. He put a scarf ar
Serena EspositoThis wasn’t right.Nothing happening here was.How did Piero enter here with the boundary spell around?Francesca definitely entered because she was attached to my mum. But, Piero? Nothing sounded correct. It was all like puzzles. . . Missing puzzles that left me frightened.“H-How did he… “ I attempted to say, directing my fingers to the boundary.“Oh, cupcake. You don’t expect that to work on me. Do you? I’m Piero. I am so powerful with the bow of the gods if you have forgotten.” He seethed devilishly.A woman in the pack aimed to bring him down with a gun but we watched how he used the bow of gods on her. She fell to the floor, shakin
Luca MarinoBlood sheds, Killings and Violence. This was what was prevalent in the air. I could see from where I stood, how my men were being killed by these vicious beasts Piero created.“Alpha, their men have outnumbered ours. We can barely win from how things are going,” said Jacob. He was with low spirits and I didn’t blame him.“Where is King elf's men? Haven’t they arrived yet?” I asked immediately. I had to win this war at all costs.“No, Alpha.” He replied me.“Tell everyone to retreat into the Hall room. Let the witches create a boundary spell that won’t allow their entrance,” I ordered. On a normal day, a typical Lycan could take down vampires but the breed Piero created was

Serena Esposito I had held on to Sasha tightly. I still couldn’t believe I had lost her. I saw her last just last week. And, we had a drink together. She told me about her seer abilities and we laughed about it. It all didn’t make sense now. . .I fucking lost her.“Why??!” I screamed.I didn’t even know where to start from. Who to blame. What the cause of her death even was? A source said it was Piero…Why did he kill her? What did he achieve by doing so?These were the thoughts that surrounded my consciousness when Luca drew me up with his hands. I reluctantly got up from the floor where Sasha lay.
Francesca I curved my mouth into a broad smile. I just loved the fact that father and I were specially going to find out what the seer had said together. Over the past years, I had craved mother’s care. But, all that stopped when I realized my mum was dead and there was no way she could ever come back.In reality, it was father who had been with me all this while. Knowing this made me so loyal to dad. I could give my life to him.Right now, we had just appeared to Sasha’s bar, with the bow of the gods, power. I stood by his side, glancing at him. We walked by the bar entrance of the door and sighted a bouncer looking at us.“State your mission,” he said, staring at my da
Serena EspositoToday was a brand new day. The full moon was tonight. This meant transformation for all the wolves in our pack with an exception of myself and Luca. So far, I had learnt how to summon my Lycan side on full moons. This enabled me not bound to the moon.It seemed unachievable at first, but I learnt how to somehow. I had many thoughts on my mind, ever since I woke up this morning. Luca had gotten up early. He whispered in my ear that he needed to coordinate the pack's warriors for the training. He also reminded me that today was when he would address the pack. As his Luna, we both had to be there together. The war was tomorrow. Knowing that alone, aroused various emotions in me. I was so nervous about what was about
If there’s anything I learnt so far, it would be speaking up when one is faced with a problem. This was why I decided I was going to speak to the witches myself. Mum hadn’t pestered me in any way when I told her I was going to talk to the witches to join us myself. In the meantime, we had gotten to Luca’s pack. I was really surprised when he approved for mum and Francesco to stay with us. When they had settled, myself and mum took off to the witches coven. The moment we got there, I noticed how arranged they were. The witches were all around a large table, chattering and laughing. While mum took my hand in hers, she stepped forward and gave a order for them to keep quiet. “I’m here for an important arrangement, fellow witches,” mum let out. I watched as they scowled to mum's face. One of the witches came forward. From how she walked, it was clear that she was the head of them all. “And why should we listen to you, Aida? You only seem to come here when you need our help,” she said,
Serena Esposito By the time I had said the words, “deal”, Luca immediately grabbed my hands to his. I arched my brows at him, about to ask where we were going. He was just the persona that was filled with various kinds of surprises in a way.“What are you up to, now?” I asked, following him. My legs were beginning to burn in the boots I had wore. And, I still needed to call mum to tell her about Luca’s approval.“Just be silent and come with me, Energia,” he said. About to say another thing, I then decided to do as he just said. I watched Luca touch his head with a stern look on his face. Knowing he was mind linking someone, I didn’t interrupt him.
