I had practically stalked Luca Marino to his apartment. If anything, I never liked giving up. Although, it wasn’t an easy job. When I had gotten to the office, the ginger head receptionist told me that I was far too late.
She went ahead saying Luca Marino had left long before I came. Then, unknowingly gave me hints on where to find him with his address.
I stood with pride as I stared into the estate. The house was quite magnificent. I pressed the gate bells. Almost immediately, I heard the sound of a dog barking.
Yet, I didn’t miss the fact that it sounded like a wolf’s howl. Good Serena, who the hell rears a wolf in a house?
I examined my stupidity.
I pressed the gate bell again.
No response.
Deciding to take matters into my hands, I pushed the gate’s entrance. It was surprisingly opened which gave me easy access to step in. Inside was massive.
Nothing compared to what I had seen outside. I could not have a perfect view of the house due to the tall trees that surrounded it.
Kicking my legs faster, a figure zoomed to my front. I clenched my chest in pain from an almost gotten heart attack. That fucking scared me.
“Who are you, signora?” [Who are you, lady?] He asked. I didn’t even know where to start from. The first thing I say is the first thing that comes to my mind.
“I’m Energia, a bit of a rogue, but very charming.” This definitely angered him.
I could swear I saw his eyes shone but it was definitely my imagination.
I made a move to run when suddenly, something like a handkerchief is stuck in between my nostrils.
Serena, don’t fight it.
A voice told me.
You brought this upon yourself.
I felt myself slowly withering. It’s like I’m being kept in a trance.
“Let’s-take her-to-Alpha.” I heard. The words are spoken quickly. As soon as I felt hands on me, I slowly gave in to the darkness that has been begging me to succumb.

I’ve been in the mafia business long before I was an Alpha. A Lycan at that. I was an original Lycan. That is, I could transform to a Lycan wolf anytime I pleased.
An average wolf can do that only on full moons. Lycans are smarter, more powerful, agility and coordination. I used my abilities in mafia business.
It’s been so much years and we gained quite some reputation. Being known across the international borders as powerful billionaires was just something.
From the first time I saw Energia Rossa, there was something that pulled me to her. She was in red. Red lipstick. That spoke so much about her. I wanted her to be mine.
Mine and mine only.
No one else’s.
When she slapped me, it left me dazed.
Apart from my witchy mom, no one had ever dared to. Till today, I still believed that whatever punishment I had given her for that was fair. I couldn’t bring myself to do what I could have done to normal people.
Normal people were shot on their head. Their families were kidnapped or their reputation was ruined.
Till now, I didn’t go that far to doing any of that. Not even when she pounced on a slut I had fucked ten times ten times I could count. That day was when I knew she was my mate.
Impossible.
I had thought.
A human?
A Lycan’s mate?
Unheard of.
It hadn’t happened before and it couldn’t have.
I was going to find out more about her family history. Just in time, I will.
My men had entered ten minutes earlier. They said they caught a rogue on our land. I had a problem when they crossed my territory.
But to enter my property, was double punishment. I was going to tear whoever it was to shreds. Mafia spy or rogue…

Serena Esposito
I felt a terrible migraine as soon as I opened my eyes. It was like someone was continually pummeling my head with a hammer.
I felt like shit.
Total shit.
And my eyes were blurry. The first thing I notice is my environment. I’m in a cellar. Everything is totally black. Except from the little window ahead that shone dim light inside.
I try standing up. Wrong choice. My hands are tied down.
“What the actual fuck?!” I yelled out.
Who the hell put me here?
Every time I tried remembering what happened, a slight pain added to my migraine. I hear a door swing open as footsteps thud inside.
It is heavy and intimidating. In a spin of a moment, the footsteps come to a halt. I sight a silhouette of a man. A huge man.
A whirlwind of fear rushes though my spine. That sort of fear that itches through the skin. That goes down through your body, and even made you get goose pimples.
“Whoever you are, I must say this is a huge misunderstanding. My intentions are purely good. I mean no harm to anyone.” I spat out viciously.
The figure draws nearer. I couldn’t help but inhale the cologne. Smelt like a million daisies, lilies, roses, and whatever pleasant smell one could think of.
Okay, who the hell inhales cologne in times of danger?
“How is it that you’re here?” The words are seethed though a sinfully husky voice. I purred out unintentionally. This earned a growl from him.
“Who are you?” I asked cautiously, unsure of what to do. Though there was something I couldn't miss. This person sounded like someone I knew.
Perhaps in the past. I hoped it wasn’t someone I had offended in the past. Cause I had a fair chance at doing that.
“I think you need to ransack your memory to answer that Energia.”
That particular intimidating voice answered. With a more fulfilling step ahead, the dim light shone on his facial structure. Then I knew.
My brain immediately shut dead for some seconds.
I knew immediately what that meant.
I had begun remembering somethings. I was with Calily. All of a sudden, I went out and somehow landed here.
What did I come to do here?
Oh yes, I came looking for someone. And, that someone stood in front of me. I was in a vulnerable state at that.
There was something about how sinister that smile looked that told me I was screwed.

Serena EspositoIt was the funeral of a very important figure. Someone who meant the whole world to us all.Sasha.Everyone was clothed in black for the funeral. Luca held my hands and hugged me whenever I needed comfort. My baby girl, Blossom was in my mum's arms. She sat right beside me.I had named her Blossom because, somehow, in spite of the war, she was able to blossom her way out. I mean she survived. And, Luca had supported me on the conditions that he'll give her another name.Francesca and Francesco were beside each other too. So far, Francesca had changed. Francesco didn’t go out with his gangs anymore.Dad was beside them. He gave me a supportive look from time to time. King elf even attended the burial. He put a scarf ar
Serena EspositoThis wasn’t right.Nothing happening here was.How did Piero enter here with the boundary spell around?Francesca definitely entered because she was attached to my mum. But, Piero? Nothing sounded correct. It was all like puzzles. . . Missing puzzles that left me frightened.“H-How did he… “ I attempted to say, directing my fingers to the boundary.“Oh, cupcake. You don’t expect that to work on me. Do you? I’m Piero. I am so powerful with the bow of the gods if you have forgotten.” He seethed devilishly.A woman in the pack aimed to bring him down with a gun but we watched how he used the bow of gods on her. She fell to the floor, shakin

I could see from where I stood, how my men were being killed by these vicious beasts Piero created.“Alpha, their men have outnumbered ours. We can barely win from how things are going,” said Jacob. He was with low spirits and I didn’t blame him.“Where is King elf's men? Haven’t they arrived yet?” I asked immediately. I had to win this war at all costs.“No, Alpha.” He replied me.“Tell everyone to retreat into the Hall room. Let the witches create a boundary spell that won’t allow their entrance,” I ordered. On a normal day, a typical Lycan could take down vampires but the breed Piero created was

Serena Esposito I had held on to Sasha tightly. I still couldn’t believe I had lost her. I saw her last just last week. And, we had a drink together. She told me about her seer abilities and we laughed about it. It all didn’t make sense now. . .I fucking lost her.“Why??!” I screamed.I didn’t even know where to start from. Who to blame. What the cause of her death even was? A source said it was Piero…Why did he kill her? What did he achieve by doing so?These were the thoughts that surrounded my consciousness when Luca drew me up with his hands. I reluctantly got up from the floor where Sasha lay.
Francesca I curved my mouth into a broad smile. I just loved the fact that father and I were specially going to find out what the seer had said together. Over the past years, I had craved mother’s care. But, all that stopped when I realized my mum was dead and there was no way she could ever come back.In reality, it was father who had been with me all this while. Knowing this made me so loyal to dad. I could give my life to him.Right now, we had just appeared to Sasha’s bar, with the bow of the gods, power. I stood by his side, glancing at him. We walked by the bar entrance of the door and sighted a bouncer looking at us.“State your mission,” he said, staring at my da
Serena EspositoToday was a brand new day. The full moon was tonight. This meant transformation for all the wolves in our pack with an exception of myself and Luca. So far, I had learnt how to summon my Lycan side on full moons. This enabled me not bound to the moon.It seemed unachievable at first, but I learnt how to somehow. I had many thoughts on my mind, ever since I woke up this morning. Luca had gotten up early. He whispered in my ear that he needed to coordinate the pack's warriors for the training. He also reminded me that today was when he would address the pack. As his Luna, we both had to be there together. The war was tomorrow. Knowing that alone, aroused various emotions in me. I was so nervous about what was about
If there’s anything I learnt so far, it would be speaking up when one is faced with a problem. This was why I decided I was going to speak to the witches myself. Mum hadn’t pestered me in any way when I told her I was going to talk to the witches to join us myself. In the meantime, we had gotten to Luca’s pack. I was really surprised when he approved for mum and Francesco to stay with us. When they had settled, myself and mum took off to the witches coven. The moment we got there, I noticed how arranged they were. The witches were all around a large table, chattering and laughing. While mum took my hand in hers, she stepped forward and gave a order for them to keep quiet. “I’m here for an important arrangement, fellow witches,” mum let out. I watched as they scowled to mum's face. One of the witches came forward. From how she walked, it was clear that she was the head of them all. “And why should we listen to you, Aida? You only seem to come here when you need our help,” she said,
Serena Esposito By the time I had said the words, “deal”, Luca immediately grabbed my hands to his. I arched my brows at him, about to ask where we were going. He was just the persona that was filled with various kinds of surprises in a way.“What are you up to, now?” I asked, following him. My legs were beginning to burn in the boots I had wore. And, I still needed to call mum to tell her about Luca’s approval.“Just be silent and come with me, Energia,” he said. About to say another thing, I then decided to do as he just said. I watched Luca touch his head with a stern look on his face. Knowing he was mind linking someone, I didn’t interrupt him.
