Luca came home early today. After I heard the sound of his car, I totally ignored it and continued what I was doing. I was about to take a lovely bath.

I prepared the bubble bath and off course put my favourite scented oils in it, a mixture of lavender and Ylang Ylang with wild orange. I took my towel up and stepped in. Washing off, I hummed a music I loved.

I had stepped out when the water was beginning to get cold. It was a lovely bath. I reached for my towel and wrapped it around myself.

Opening the door, I walked into my room. I looked in the mirror, examining my skin when I moved back. I was startled by what I saw.

It was Luca. He was leaning on my doorway, completely bare chested.

His trousers hanged low just beneath his v-line. My God he looked so attractive.

“God, Luca. You scared me.” I cried out. I held my towel piece cause it was almost falling off. I think this left a reaction from him. His pupils were darkened. They looked dilated.

“Energia, I will need you to do something.” Luca suddenly asked. His voice sounded deeper and broader.

“No, I need you to do something, Luca. Get out of here. I’m not properly dressed.” I interrupted.

“Listen, Energia. It’s for your own good.” Luca said. I narrowed my eyes at his words. He sounded serious.

“Okay, what is it?” I asked him.

“Can you walk out slowly with your back? Do not run. I repeat. Do not run.” The words are surprising. If anything, he was weird.

I slowly turn and walked up to him in the doorway. He held one of my hands and inhaled and sniffed my neck. I curiously marched out.

“You could put on one of my shirts in my room and use my stuffs to get dressed.” He added.

I nodded and walked away.

                                                                         ~ ~ ~

I had instantly told Calily of what had happened. She defended him saying he might be on stimulant. She further told me that he might have had blue balls. I definitely rolled my eyes at her statement cause I knew she implied the fact that we needed to fuck cause he was horny. None of that was going to happen anytime soon.

When she hung up, I called my mum to tell her of my new job. She hurriedly asked to come visit me in my office. I told her there was no office and that I worked for 5 times my former pay as a billionaire’s entertainer.

She wasn’t so pleased. Yet, she asked if my employer was married. I narrowed my eyes, telling her no. She advised that I had a higher chance of dating him and reminded me I had to get married soon.

However, I stopped her halfway and told her any of that wasn’t my intention. Luca Marino wasn’t the husband material nor did I even have any feelings for him. Aida, my mum was just a case.

I told her to stop focusing on my relationships and focus on hers. She replied that till today, she still loved my late dad and could do anything for him.

I, being bored, walked the doorway. I went to the kitchen and sighted an incredible blue painting. It looked serene and drew me in.

I lifted my hand to its center to examine it. Suddenly, I heard a beeping sound. The painting began to divide and split into many lines. It opened.

My eyes almost went out of its sockets by what I saw.

Was I in the movies?

Is this a secret passageway?

Guess there was only one way to find out. I had to check. My inner sense was telling me to stay away. Yet, something whispered to me to take just one look.

It looked like an ally way. It was dark and had staircases leading down. I stepped down it quietly.

At every step, I heard muffled sounds and groans. It was like a groan of agony. My steps cautiously went forward again. I had come to the room itself. It was dark, except for the light that shown from above.

I almost gasped when I saw Luca. He was holding the neck of a guy tied to the chair. His eyes were bloody and disfigured and his cloth was stained with blood.

“You dare rat out to Giovanni?!” He seethed. There was a gun in his hand and someone else by his side. I recognized him. Luca always carried him wherever he went.

His name was Stefano.

“Please forgive me, boss. Give me a second chance.” The tortured man replied. Stefano held him in place.

“You know I don’t do second chances.” With that, he uncorked the gun and held it to his throat.

I heard the gun being shot.

My ears were blocked for a while. Goosebumps rattled through my arms.

I had to leave here as soon as possible. I’m about to move when my body hits one of the sticks piled up just by the of the room.

“Who goes there?” A voice yelled. I quickly tried to go down the stairs but an arm stops me. It dragged me up to the center of the room.

“Look what I found, boss.” Stefano said to Luca.

“Energia?” Luca called surprisingly. He looked sleep deprived. Yet, he was clothed fully. Contrary to how I had seen him earlier today.

“I-I can explain.” I stuttered, trying to say. He looked at Stefano touching his head. It was like they just did telepathy.

Stefano brings a bag and puts the body in it. He and two other men from outside, carries the body out of the room. My gaze directs back to Luca. I was awaiting a sentence.

“Then do. What are you doing here?” He asked.

“Please don’t kill me too. I stumbled across the beautiful painting in the kitchen. I had touched it to admire but I discovered this. I promise I won’t tell anyone of what I just saw. I- “

Luca interrupted me with his hand forward. His hand lifted and he made a shush sound. This surprised me.

Oh gawd, maybe he didn’t believe me and I was going to die now.

I didn’t want to die a virgin.

“I can’t. I won’t and I’ll never, ever kill you, Energia. The day I do that, will be the death of me.” I could swear he was bipolar.

I didn’t say anything.

Right now; presently. I was scared and scarred for life.

Cause I had never witnessed anybody being murdered, except my late dad.

Nothing sounded correct. It was all like puzzles. . . Missing puzzles that left me frightened.“H-How did he… “ I attempted to say, directing my fingers to the boundary.“Oh, cupcake. You don’t expect that to work on me. Do you? I’m Piero. Serena Esposito I had held on to Sasha tightly. I still couldn’t believe I had lost her. I saw her last just last week. And, we had a drink together. She told me about her seer abilities and we laughed about it. It all didn’t make sense now. . .I fucking lost her.“Why??!” I screamed.I didn’t even know where to start from. Who to blame. What the cause of her death even was? A source said it was Piero…Why did he kill her? What did he achieve by doing so?These were the thoughts that surrounded my consciousness when Luca drew me up with his hands. I reluctantly got up from the floor where Sasha lay.

Francesca I curved my mouth into a broad smile. I just loved the fact that father and I were specially going to find out what the seer had said together. Over the past years, I had craved mother’s care. Serena EspositoToday was a brand new day. The full moon was tonight. This meant transformation for all the wolves in our pack with an exception of myself and Luca. So far, I had learnt how to summon my Lycan side on full moons. This enabled me not bound to the moon.It seemed unachievable at first, but I learnt how to somehow. I had many thoughts on my mind, ever since I woke up this morning. Luca had gotten up early. He whispered in my ear that he needed to coordinate the pack's warriors for the training. He also reminded me that today was when he would address the pack. As his Luna, we both had to be there together. The war was tomorrow. Knowing that alone, aroused various emotions in me. I was so nervous about what was about

If there’s anything I learnt so far, it would be speaking up when one is faced with a problem. This was why I decided I was going to speak to the witches myself. Mum hadn’t pestered me in any way when I told her I was going to talk to the witches to join us myself. In the meantime, we had gotten to Luca’s pack. I was really surprised when he approved for mum and Francesco to stay with us. When they had settled, myself and mum took off to the witches coven. The moment we got there, I noticed how arranged they were. The witches were all around a large table, chattering and laughing. While mum took my hand in hers, she stepped forward and gave a order for them to keep quiet. “I’m here for an important arrangement, fellow witches,” mum let out. I watched as they scowled to mum's face. One of the witches came forward. From how she walked, it was clear that she was the head of them all. “And why should we listen to you, Aida? You only seem to come here when you need our help,” she said,

Serena Esposito By the time I had said the words, “deal”, Luca immediately grabbed my hands to his. I arched my brows at him, about to ask where we were going. He was just the persona that was filled with various kinds of surprises in a way.“What are you up to, now?” I asked, following him. My legs were beginning to burn in the boots I had wore. And, I still needed to call mum to tell her about Luca’s approval.“Just be silent and come with me, Energia,” he said. About to say another thing, I then decided to do as he just said. I watched Luca touch his head with a stern look on his face. Knowing he was mind linking someone, I didn’t interrupt him.
