ENZO’s POV. After I leave Michelle alone in the room, I briskly make my way towards the study. Izzy and Xavier are already waiting for me and the look on both faces tells me this is more than an abduction. MICHELLE’s POV. As soon as Enzo kisses me, something reverberates over my body. I am not sure what is or what it signifies but I am sure it is definitely something. Something that will change my entire life forever. I don’t push him away, I allow him to hold onto me and deepen the kiss. Maybe this is what I need, to finally get rid of the thoughts of Nicholas away from my head. For three years, I stayed loyal to him but he didn’t bat an eyelid before getting my sister pregnant. ENZO’s POV. With my back pressing against the chair, I let out a heavy sigh. I have not slept a wink since yesterday night. After feeding Michelle dinner, I helped her to bed and came back to my study. I have a lot of work to finish off and it is taking a lot of time. I have two surgeries scheduled for the next seven hours and some pack issues I need to take care of. Just a day away from Los Angeles and my table is packed full with work. My musing is interrupted when my mobile begins to beep. At first I want to ignore the call but on second thought, I pick up the phone and my eyes darken at the sight of the caller. The nerves!! I click on the receive button before pressing the phone against my ear. “Why have you called?” “I am in front of your house Enzo” Avra’s voice filters into my ear, “let’s have a talk” “The nerve of you to show up in front of my house, Avra” I growl in anger, “how dare you?” “You can do what you chose to me Enzo, I really need to see you”

MICHELLE’s POV. With one last look at the mirror, I nod at myself before making my way out of the room. Today is my appointment with the doctor Enzo recommended and I am feeling optimistic about it. I have a feeling that I would hear some good news in a few hours and I am excited. Luckily after that day at the hospital, the pain subsided but I still felt it on a few occasions. Earlier, Enzo sent me a message saying he would be late since he has a surgery at the hospital and he told me one of his men will bring me to the hospital. He made breakfast before leaving and I can’t help but feel indebted to him, he has treated me so nicely that I can not thank him enough. Looking at myself again, I nod again. ENZO’s POV. As soon as Michelle crashes into my embrace, I pull her into my arms and she rests her head against my chest. I hate the fact that she is in so much pain and I can do little or less to help her. I hate seeing pain in her eyes, I hate seeing her cry but right now even with all the power I have, I am unable to help her. “Give us a moment, Lawrence” I tell him and he nods before making his way out of the examination room leaving the two of us. MICHELLE’s POV. I actually find its very hard to believe that the Enzo seated beside me is the same Enzo Philips that has taken the world storm in a few years. I am not particularly versed in Avanti but i knew how big the brand was and how people wanted to work with it. Even Nicholas had made mention of wanting to venture into the fashion industry and patner with Avanti. Not in my wildest dreams did I ever think i would he in the same space with him but here he is, sitting beside me with a smug look on his face.
