MICHELLE’s POV. I actually find its very hard to believe that the Enzo seated beside me is the same Enzo Philips that has taken the world storm in a few years. I am not particularly versed in Avanti but i knew how big the brand was and how people wanted to work with it. ENZO’s POV. One thing I hate the most in my life is when someone lies to me or tries to take me for granted and that is exactly what Diego and his pack are trying to do. MICHELLE’s POV. I can feel the color rush on my face as I watch Enzo make his way out of the room. Isn’t he the weirdest? How can he do and say something like that so casually? My insides are heating up and I feel all giddy with excitement, gosh!!. ENZO’s POV. Michelle’s scream alerts me and I immediately sit up, before I can even ask her anything, my eyes catch the blood stain on the bed and for real, my heart skips a beat. I didn’t notice the blood when I came to lie down beside her so how did this happen? My mind is in turmoil right now, I am not sure if she is having a miscarriage or it is because of the tumor. “Snap out of it” my wolf growls inside of me and I snap back to reality. MICHELLE’s POV. Standing in front of the mirror, I can not help but admire myself. The knee length dress looks so good with the gemstones on it. The slit running up my thighs gives it a more subtle look and I can not help but fall in love with it. I am certain Enzo designed this himself seeing how simple yet stunning it looks. How can a man be versed in a lot of things, surely he is the moon goddess’s favorite and I can swear on that. My musing is cut short when the door opens and Enzo saunters in. For a moment he is speechless as his eyes travel over me. ENZO’s POV. Snaking my hand around her waist, I deepen the kiss and find her tongue. Something about her keeps drawing me in and I just want to hold her in my embrace forever without letting her go or letting her shed a single tear. With this, my grip around her tighten. I am afraid she might slip away if I let her go and I am not ready for that. Her kiss is slow and gentle, full of love and warmth. NICHOLAS’s POV. A light groan leaves my lips as I close the document I am reading and I press my back against the chair. It’s been like two weeks since the divorce saga and all I can say is Natalia is settling in well but the workload is a bit too much. When Michelle was around, she helped me take care of the pack house while I focused on work and now because of Natalia's pregnancy, I told her not to work and always rest. I scoff; am I actually thinking about Michelle right now? She is part of my past and I am going to make sure she remains there. My thoughts are cut off when the door opens and Natalia saunters into the study dressed to kill as usual. ENZO’s POV. Tonight has been the most overwhelming night of my life and I need a lot of time to process what has happened but right now I am seated in my study with Melisa sitting in front of me. I had helped Michelle go to bed after we got back and we both decided to keep everything that happened a secret until we are able to figure out everything that’s going on. She had to also rest early because she is supposed to go to the hospital in the morning and that’s why I put her to bed early. I just want to finish with Melisa and crawl into bed beside her.
