CHAPTER TWENTY SIX.

ENZO’s POV.

With my back pressing against the chair, I let out a heavy sigh. I have not slept a wink since yesterday night.

After feeding Michelle dinner, I helped her to bed and came back to my study. I have a lot of work to finish off and it is taking a lot of time.

I have two surgeries scheduled for the next seven hours and some pack issues I need to take care of.

Just a day away from Los Angeles and my table is packed full with work.

My musing is interrupted when my mobile begins to beep. At first I want to ignore the call but on second thought, I pick up the phone and my eyes darken at the sight of the caller. The nerves!!

I click on the receive button before pressing the phone against my ear.

“Why have you called?”

“I am in front of your house Enzo” Avra’s voice filters into my ear, “let’s have a talk”

“The nerve of you to show up in front of my house, Avra” I growl in anger, “how dare you?”

“You can do what you chose to me Enzo, I really need to see you”
