Ilene was laid to rest in the same family graveyard as Dane's ancestors. And only four of us were there, including the Shaman who carried out the funeral ceremony. Dane deliberately selected a place at the back, separate from his father, Alpha Chris Llyod. I chose not to ask him any questions because it appeared that he wanted to bury the memory of Ilene's death deep in his mind.

The next day it was very dreary, but Dane went to the office and so did I. I busied myself with my work. Two omegas from the Red Moon pack arrived, and I volunteered to take their professional photos. The setting I went for their background was the natural light.
