Didn’t Deserve

Sade was becoming a headache that didn’t have a cure. I had to take actions to ensure she was no longer in my life. I was at a loss about how to begin without disappointing Dave. Since my pup was an alpha, we had to be patient and explain things to him instead of forcing them on him.

Next morning, after Dave got ready for school, I said, “Sweetie, I will come to pick you up today.” I stroked his hair lovingly, hoping that his anger had reduced.

He pouted. “No, I will not come back with you.” I kneeled down in front of him and his eyes widened. “Mommy, please stand up. Don’t sit like that. You will get hurt.” He rubbed his hand on my belly and the concern for me returned to his face.

Cupping his cheeks, I asked, “Why not? Do you hate mommy?”

His eyes rounded at the corner. “No, I love you,” he said with all sincerity. “But why are you being mean to aunt Sade?”
