Kit’s POVWhen breakfast was over, Alpha Jace and Dom quickly disappeared to my father’s study to discuss strategies, leaving Lizzy and I alone, giving me the opportunity to get to know her. Needing some fresh air, I asked her if she would like to join me out back on the patio, for a morning cup of tea. When I went to stand from my seat, Lizzy quickly rushed to my side to help me, and it was clear that her heart was pure, because with Alpha Jace’s absence, she was just as caring. Kit’s POV Honestly, I had just met Lizzy, and I wasn’t quite sure if I could trust her, but something was telling me that I could, the same something that I had trusted all those years ago when I had gone to Alpha Jace for help. Kit’s POV Lizzy was a genius, and it was obvious that her time spent locked away with her father had paid off, all those years. She didn’t think like a Luna, but instead thought like an Alpha, and her plan to get my son back was beyond brilliant. Kit’s POV Alpha Jace nor Dom returned for dinner, and I had found myself alone in bed, thinking about the conversation that I had with Lizzy about our mothers. It turns out that she believes our mothers were murdered before a male heir could be produced, making the next generation of our packs weaker, so that a major take over could happen. Her conspiracy theory at first sounded a bit irrational, but the more that I had time to think about it, it wasn’t so far fetched as it first seemed, as I thought back to all my friends I used to have in school of the similar status, that too lost their mothers. Dom’s POV I had no clue how Kit had figured this out, but I was grateful that she had, because this was a game changer, especially if we could call an emergency meeting right away with all the packs in the region that this has affected, which was pretty much all of them. There was no way that any of them were going to stand by Red Moon, once their plan was exposed to them. As Alpha Jace collected the evidence needed with the help of his Luna, Kit and I began making the calls to gather the Alphas at this late hour. Of course, none of them were happy to be awoken this late at night, but once they all were informed of the matter at hand, they all agreed to the emergency meeting.Knowing that it would take hours before they all would arrive, after all the calls were made, the four of us headed down to the kitchen to get a bite to eat, because there was no doubt that this was going to be an all niter, and that a pot of coffee was in dire need.

Kit’s POV As we entered my bedroom, I was praying that Dom wasn’t suspecting how I had pieced together what Red Moon was up to, and I also prayed that he wasn’t on to Lizzy and me because the plan was still a go for tomorrow.
