Kit’s POV Lizzy was a genius, and it was obvious that her time spent locked away with her father had paid off, all those years. She didn’t think like a Luna, but instead thought like an Alpha, and her plan to get my son back was beyond brilliant. Turns out that she wasn’t going to be hiding her Alpha’s blood, but instead she was going to use it to get us inside the Alpha’s estate where there was no doubt my son and Luna Rebeca were hiding out at. With my absence from the pack world, I had no clue of who was who any longer, as Alpha Jace had kept all this information to himself, but Lizzy knew it all because she had worked by her father’s side and knew that Red Moon’s new Alpha hadn’t taken a mate yet. With Lizzy’s Alpha’s blood, there was no doubt that the Red Moon’s Alpha would see her as a prize, and this was our chance to get inside his estate. I, of course, would be her plus one, and no one would be paying a bit of attention to me, e
Kit’s POV Alpha Jace nor Dom returned for dinner, and I had found myself alone in bed, thinking about the conversation that I had with Lizzy about our mothers. It turns out that she believes our mothers were murdered before a male heir could be produced, making the next generation of our packs weaker, so that a major take over could happen. Her conspiracy theory at first sounded a bit irrational, but the more that I had time to think about it, it wasn’t so far fetched as it first seemed, as I thought back to all my friends I used to have in school of the similar status, that too lost their mothers. It was quite possible this was all a coincidence, but a crazy one if so. Lizzy said that her father shortly after her mother’s passing became paranoid and wouldn’t allow her out of his estate, claiming that it was unsafe for her, and kept her a secret for all these years from everyone. His hatred towards Red Moon, drove Lizzy to believe that R
Dom’s POV I had no clue how Kit had figured this out, but I was grateful that she had, because this was a game changer, especially if we could call an emergency meeting right away with all the packs in the region that this has affected, which was pretty much all of them. There was no way that any of them were going to stand by Red Moon, once their plan was exposed to them. As Alpha Jace collected the evidence needed with the help of his Luna, Kit and I began making the calls to gather the Alphas at this late hour. Of course, none of them were happy to be awoken this late at night, but once they all were informed of the matter at hand, they all agreed to the emergency meeting.Knowing that it would take hours before they all would arrive, after all the calls were made, the four of us headed down to the kitchen to get a bite to eat, because there was no doubt that this was going to be an all niter, and that a pot of coffee was in dire need.
Kit’s POV As we entered my bedroom, I was praying that Dom wasn’t suspecting how I had pieced together what Red Moon was up to, and I also prayed that he wasn’t on to Lizzy and me because the plan was still a go for tomorrow. Whatever he wanted to talk to me about, he needed to make it quick, because I had already cost us valuable sleep with my discovery, for us to be at our best tomorrow. Making my way to the middle of my room, I stop and turn around to face him, as he shuts the door behind him, before he turns to face me. In his eyes I could see that something was weighing heavily on him, and I began to believe that this conversation we were about to have had nothing to do at all with what Lizzy and I were up to, but instead something from his heart. Just as I suspected, Dom closed the distance between us, taking my hands into his own, before he says to me, “I have something that has been weighing heavily on my heart that I need to tel
Kit’s POV Morning was upon me before I knew it, and my alarm was going off telling me that I needed to get a move on it. My sister had already been informed that I was in need of her help, and because of what I had done for her, she didn’t even question why I needed her to make me up. After getting my shower, there was a knock on my door, before it opened, revealing my sister right on time. She knew that we needed to move fast, and she was prepared for her task at hand. An hour later she was finished, and when I looked in the mirror, I barely recognize my own reflection, telling me that she did her job. Lizzy at that moment opened my door without knocking, as she slid inside, shutting the door behind her. “They’re leaving now for the meeting. All the Alphas have arrived.” She says, before her eyes focus on me, and she gives me a smile as she says, “Wow, you do clean up good. I barely recognize you myself.” I honestly didn
Kit’s POV Lizzy was by my side before I was fully out of the car, and her eyes were on the prize, before she leans into me and whispers, “Stick to the plan.” As she puts a smile on her face looking up at the Alpha of Red Moon. Just as she had told me, I stayed one step behind her, letting her take the lead up the grand steps where the Alpha stood waiting for us, but it was clear that his eyes were focused solely on Lizzy, as I could feel her Alpha presence now beaming from her. When we got to the top of the grand steps, Lizzy extended her hand to the Alpha, and said, “I am Elizabeth, daughter of Alpha Issac of the Crescent Moon pack.” The Red Moon pack’s Alpha took Lizzy’s hand into his own, before he said, “I am Alpha Orion, and it is an honor to meet such a gem as yourself.” He then took Lizzy’s hand and pulled it to his lips, placing a soft kiss upon the back of her hand. To my surprise, Lizzy let out a
Kit’s POV Pulling the phone down from my ear to my side, I turn to face the person that had taken everything from me. As I looked into her eyes, I realized she had no clue who I was, and that my sister had worked her magic, just as I hoped she would have. I wanted nothing more at this moment then to kill her, like we had planned, but I now knew there was so much more at stake here, then just getting my own son to safety. Disguising my voice, I say to her, “I’m sorry, but I seem to be lost. I thought that Alpha Orion and Elizabeth had come this way, and I was for sure that the original looking door would lead to his office, but I found myself here.” Luna Rebeca at that moment tilted her head to the side as she furrowed her brows at me, and I thought that maybe she had caught on to who I was, and that I hadn’t disguised my voice enough, but that wasn’t the case. “I believe you must have taken a wrong turn in the foyer. Alpha Orion’s office
Dom’s POV Alpha Jace and I had a hard task at hand trying to convince all the packs affected by Red Moon to join us, as half of them were in disbelief at the evidence we had found, telling us that it didn’t prove a thing to them, while the other half were disturbed by our findings. In the middle of a hot dispute with Blue Moon over his Luna being a traitor, my phone began to ring, showing that Kit was calling. I wanted to answer her call, but I knew right now I had to stay in the argument, as we were somewhat making progress convincing Alpha Wyatt. Sending the call to voicemail, I turned back to the argument at hand, helping Alpha Jace with my own testimony of what Luna Rebeca had done by taking my son from my fated mate, that I didn’t know I had until after he was taken. “I am sorry that your Luna has turned against you, and has taken your son, but that doesn’t prove to us that our own Lunas are traitors to us. Yes, none of us have heir
