Dom’s POV While Alpha Jace and the other Alpha coerced a plan of attack, I stared at my cell phone on the table in front of me. As I stared at it lost in thought of how to save Kit and now not one son but two, I noticed the red-light blinking telling me there was a voice message. Picking my cell phone up I quickly move to the inbox, and see that the voicemail was from Kit, time stamped minutes before the text came through, and my heart sank now remembering her trying to call me, and me sending it straight to voicemail. Once again, I had foolishly put the pack over her wellbeing. Pressing play, I pulled the phone to my ear, but the voice on the voicemail wasn’t Kit’s but Rebeca’s instead. Dom’s POV The impact never came from Kit’s wolf, but the sound of snarls and growls filled the air, making me open my eyes immediately to see Kit’s wolf ripping a wolf to pieces directly behind my car, as another wolf was on the verge of charging her. Without hesitation, I shifted into my own wolf intercepting the second wolf in mid-air, before it could lay a paw on her. Dom’s POV We moved our conversation into the house, as Ms. Caroline brought us a cup of coffee, and Damian a cup of hot coco, while we waited for Kit’s surgery to be completed. We only had a few hours before the attack on Red Moon was to take place, but we knew that Damian held valuable information to help us save the Alphas’ heirs since he had been held with them. Turns out that the heirs were being held at Alpha Orion’s estate, and there were twelve boys in total there, each of them with the same names given to them of their fathers. Jace’s POV It was clear that Dom was struggling with leaving Katrina like this, but he had his pack’s future to deal with. Plus, my Luna was still there, I am sure in danger at the hands of Alpha Orion, and I was going to make him pay for whatever he had done to her. It infuriated me that it had been her plan to go into Red Moon territory, deceiving me, but like Katrina had said, she was a female Alpha and a true Luna, and she thought she was doing this for the sake of all our packs. Dom’s POV Seeing Rebeca’s wolf now standing before me, fueled a fire inside of me, as I began to see red at the sight of her, and I had no doubt she was a major player in what was happening here. She had accompanied these wolves here for a reason, and something told me that reason was to see my end come to me, but by the look in her eyes, it was clear that she wasn’t expecting to see Alpha Jace with me. Jace’s POV Alpha Domonic lets out a growl as he holds Luna Rebeca’s body by her throat, and I knew that I had to stop him from killing her at this moment, because it was now clear that we had our own bargaining chip to get Elizabeth back. Luna Rebeca obviously had a fated mate here at Red Moon, and I knew that her mate would do whatever it took to keep her safe. Jace’s POV Not even bothering to wait for a response from Alpha Domonic, I race towards the house, knowing that my mate could very well be inside, especially since Luna Rebeca disappeared inside moments ago. As soon as I stepped inside the house, I could smell Elizabeth’s sweet scent filling my senses, and I knew that she had to be recently here in the foyer. Dom’s POV I had loaded all the Alphas’ heirs in the van, like Alpha Jace had told me to, but as I began to drive down the lane with them, I found myself bringing the van to a complete stop, when I heard one of the Alpha boys say, “Domonic what is going on?” Looking into my rearview mirror, I realized quickly that he was talking to another little Alpha boy in the backseat, instead of me, and my eyes set on the little Alpha boy that was called Domonic. There was nothing about the Alpha boy that remotely looked like me, and it made me wonder if my intuition of Rebeca, not actually having my child was true. As I stared at him, I quickly realized who he resembled, and I knew now who Rebeca’s fated mate was.
