Dom’s POV The impact never came from Kit’s wolf, but the sound of snarls and growls filled the air, making me open my eyes immediately to see Kit’s wolf ripping a wolf to pieces directly behind my car, as another wolf was on the verge of charging her. Dom’s POV We moved our conversation into the house, as Ms. Caroline brought us a cup of coffee, and Damian a cup of hot coco, while we waited for Kit’s surgery to be completed. We only had a few hours before the attack on Red Moon was to take place, but we knew that Damian held valuable information to help us save the Alphas’ heirs since he had been held with them. Jace’s POV It was clear that Dom was struggling with leaving Katrina like this, but he had his pack’s future to deal with. Plus, my Luna was still there, I am sure in danger at the hands of Alpha Orion, and I was going to make him pay for whatever he had done to her. Dom’s POV Seeing Rebeca’s wolf now standing before me, fueled a fire inside of me, as I began to see red at the sight of her, and I had no doubt she was a major player in what was happening here. She had accompanied these wolves here for a reason, and something told me that reason was to see my end come to me, but by the look in her eyes, it was clear that she wasn’t expecting to see Alpha Jace with me. Jace’s POV Alpha Domonic lets out a growl as he holds Luna Rebeca’s body by her throat, and I knew that I had to stop him from killing her at this moment, because it was now clear that we had our own bargaining chip to get Elizabeth back. Luna Rebeca obviously had a fated mate here at Red Moon, and I knew that her mate would do whatever it took to keep her safe. Jace’s POV Not even bothering to wait for a response from Alpha Domonic, I race towards the house, knowing that my mate could very well be inside, especially since Luna Rebeca disappeared inside moments ago. As soon as I stepped inside the house, I could smell Elizabeth’s sweet scent filling my senses, and I knew that she had to be recently here in the foyer. Dom’s POV I had loaded all the Alphas’ heirs in the van, like Alpha Jace had told me to, but as I began to drive down the lane with them, I found myself bringing the van to a complete stop, when I heard one of the Alpha boys say, “Domonic what is going on?” Looking into my rearview mirror, I realized quickly that he was talking to another little Alpha boy in the backseat, instead of me, and my eyes set on the little Alpha boy that was called Domonic. There was nothing about the Alpha boy that remotely looked like me, and it made me wonder if my intuition of Rebeca, not actually having my child was true. Kit’s POV Red Moon thankfully fell that day, but so much was lost in taking them down, and my heart ached at the pain it has brought to all of us. But by taking down Red Moon, an alliance among those packs that fought together, had been formed, and Alpha Jace was deemed as head of a council that was created, so that not one pack was solely in control of the region. Dom had made the ultimate sacrifice that day, and my world and Damian’s, will be forever changed because of it.
