4: Angel.

Life is beautiful when you have the nice people around you to care for you, so get rid of the toxic people around you because they can ruin you- Vanilla Chalet.

Vanilla.

"So, is there a chance for me to return home? " I questioned, pleading with Angel with my eyes in hope she told me there was, I couldn't imagine myself staying with these dangerous creatures after their apparent kidnapping of me.

Though nice, I still had fear in me from seeing them in their animal form, it was no joke.

Angel nod, "there is, but you have to heal first, your wounds are too severe, you have a broken rib and a twisted ankle, though i have repositioned it, you might still not be able to walk for a few weeks, since you are human, "

I looked down at my ankle which had been wrapped with a guaze earlier, the pain from the repositioning she did earlier still edge in my bone, making me wince in remembrance," can't you do some magic that will make it heal faster and less painful? "

Angle threw her head back in laughter, she laughed hard for a while before she calmed down and looked at me, " I am a werewolf not a witch, do humans think we heal people? "

I sigh, " well, I guess I will have to stay till my wounds heal,"

" yeah, sorry about that, I could have sworn I thought you were a wolf, if I knew you were human I wouldn't have thrown you in the air like that?"

I glared at her, " you seem to find this funny don't you? "

"Of course, I knew humans were fragile but not this fragile, you made me almost loose my fur when I realized you were human, "

When I woke up this morning, Angel was In the room, she apologized for yesterday and even checked my wound and gave me a change of cloth then she sat and spoke with me, she told me her name and that of the twins.

She was Angel and they were Kyle and Kayden, Angel told me she had gone to Darkness and spoke to him about me and Darkness was willing to let me return home when the time is right, and he was allowing me to stay in his castle till then, this made me wonder just who this Darkness person was though I would prefer to never find out.

Still, with how nice Angel was to me, she was a good person, someone too good in this world of Darkness. Though she must have a relationship with Darkness to be able to plead for a human.

If i had not seen her turn into a wolf right in front of me yesterday, I could have sworn she was completely human, like she seemed like a normal lady around my age and she was nice too.

" well, I guess it won't be weird if I said that I never knew Werewolf's existed till last night, " chuckling, I added, " I almost had my heart Jump out of my heart in fear when I saw you guys, especially with the way the twins teeth were barred at me, "

"They thought you were a rouge, rouges have been rampant around that area since a month ago, "

" can i ask you a question? "

" yeah, go ahead, " she smiled in encouragement.

"I thought werewolf's had this thing for smells, like you could smell if a person was human or wolf like you, "

" first things first, we are not wolves but werewolf's and second things second, we do know if you are one of us or not by smelling your scent but in your case, you don't have a scent, "/

"What? That's impossible, " I sniffed myself," I smell like Vanilla, " I retorted, making Angel smile.

" I am not talking about that, but seriously, in your case it is a good thing, it makes my brother's work less harder, "

I frowned, " your brother? "

"Oh, forget I said that, " she dismissed it with a wave if her hand but her word seemed to have a meaning to me.

Shrugging, I looked away from her to the wall, "what about Blue? What are you going to do with her? " I questioned.

"i see you named her already, " Angel chuckled, " she is yours, just make sure to keep her hidden when you return to your world, "

I nodded, " and my friend? She was taken by the werewolf's just like me, "

Angel shook her head, " I am sorry, she is gone, " she replied.

I felt disgusted, " S-she, " I closed my eyes as tear evaded it, I couldn't believe it, I couldn't bring myself to ask her what they had done to my poor friend.

"I will let you be, " Angel announced, stood to her feet and headed out, when she got to the door, she looked back at me, " the castle is all yours Vanilla,butu can go anywhere you want. Except the west wing, Darkness's chamber is located there and he doesn't like humans wandering around his chamber. "

Her face pleaded with me, " don't make this harder for any of us... Please, "

Before I could say anything, she was out of the door, tears rolled down my cheek at the thought of my dead friend, how could they be so cruel? Cruel enough to kill off a human like that?

"I can't believe he did that! " a voice exclaimed all of a sudden, making me flinched and look around in search of the owner of the voice.

Foot steps echoed from the wall, two foot steps, Click click click.

"He did, Darkness had Craig burn those shadows, they were innocent yet he had them burned, " another voice experated.

"What should we do Whale? Darkness is getting out of hand and if this continues we... "

" Dionne! " Whale cautioned, then their footsteps halted, " we are still in the palace remember! Meet me at the Edge of the Blues Tommorow at midnight there we can talk, "

Dionne sighed, " wait, Whale I... I don't want you to hurt anyone okay, let just protect each other and we are going to survive, "

"I know, " there was a moment of silence, then the footsteps continued.

I released a breath I had no idea I was holding, had I just heard some top secret or what? And who was this Darkness everyone kept talking about and fearing.

At the thought of the name, I shivered, anything Darkness was evil, this Darkness must have hurt a lot of people, I hope I never meet him during my stay here.

I looked around the room, the lights were on which meant that the darkness couldn't get to me in here, with that, I laid on the bed and closed my eyes, I needed rest then I would try to go around and investigate.

I couldn't leave here empty handed, I needed proof to take back home and I needed to get it without anyone finding out.

Or they won't let me leave.
