CHAPTER 7 - TROUBLE MAKER

NICOLE'S POV

I was discharged two days ago and I haven't been able to see Asher since then, I mean seeing him anytime and everyday was the best part of being in the hospital... Something has been bothering me since he left last Thursday, he said something about putting his contact in my records but I am not really sure what he meant by that, we haven't been alone long enough to actually ask him but today is Thursday, which means I will get to see him again and we can finally talk without interruptions.

"Let's go Nicole." Ruth said before we left the cell for breakfast.

"Of course." Everytime we go to the dining hall for food, the memories of my attack flashes again and it feels like it's mocking me for not having my revenge yet.

I will definitely have my revenge because I know deep down that I can't fully move past this without having my revenge. It's similar to what happened six years ago, even after killing five of the gang members, I still don't have peace and I know I won't until I kill the last guy standing and it's the same thing with Shelly, I won't be at peace until I put her and her minions in the fucking infirmary.

I spent every moment in the infirmary plotting my next move, she has to pay for what she has done.

"I am so famished." Ruth pointed out as we entered the dining hall.

"Yeah, me...too." I paused in my tracks as soon as I saw Shelly moving around freely.

"What's wrong?" Ruth asked when she noticed that I stopped moving.

She fucking stabbed me in plain sight, in front of many people and all she got is a few days in solitary confinement. "This is so unbelievable." It's a joke right? "She's fucking free."

"I am so sorry Nicole, I know seeing her here will be hard for you and I testified to what she did but I guess my words alone wasn't good enough."

"It's fine, I know you tried your best." We continued walking and then we picked up our tray and got our meals.

But all the while, Shelly was staring and to my surprise, she blocked my way in the middle of the hall and just like the last time, everyone was staring.

"Nicole, Nicole, Nicole. Learnt your lesson yet?" She asked confidently and I feel like snapping her tiny little neck for even thinking that she has won or that I will consider submitting to her.

"Unfortunately no, I am stubborn like that but I do have something to teach you." I took a step closer to her and I can see she's scared which I love. "You should have fucking killed me when you had the chance because now, I will be your fucking nightmare. Watch your damn back Shelly and that includes your little minions." I walked out on her with Ruth beside me and we sat at our regular table.

"That was so amazing Nicole, did you see her face? She looked so scared." As she should because I will make sure that she pays, legally or not.

"As she should." I ate my food quickly because any moment from now, it will be time to see Asher, it's been two days since I saw him last, I actually miss him.

We ate our food in silence and the food is horrible as usual but I ate it anyways, I am pretty eager to see Asher, I still need to ask him about the record stuff.

"Kingston 42." One of the guards called just as I was rounding up with my food.

"I will see you later Ruth." I got up and followed the guard out.

I made sure that my hair is still in perfect condition and I fixed my clothes as well, giving my present location, I think that I look as good as I can.

"Go in Kingston, I will be back in an hour." The guard said as soon as we got to the door.

I opened the door and stepped in, the smile on Asher's face is exactly what I have been looking forward to all week, he didn't have the smile when he came visiting me at the infirmary. "Hi, hot doctor." I teased while smiling at him.

"Come here trouble maker." He said with his hands stretched as he got up from the chair.

I rushed into his arms and I gave him a tight hug, this feels so right. "I can get used to this."

"You should love but don't you ever scare me like that again, I was so worried." I pulled away from the hug and looked into his eyes. He looks really sincere but why was he so worried and scared, when we only just got together.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare or get you worried, I will be careful next time." I will be very careful, I will make sure I put them in the infirmary before they can do anything to hurt me.

"It's fine, how are you?"

"I'm fine, thanks." I sat down on my regular chair. Although what I would have preferred to do is to jump him rather than to sit down.

"Good, I missed you." He said casually before going back to his desk.

"I missed you too, so much." I smiled at him.

This is really ironic, I just wanted to have fun with him because he is a walking temptation but somehow, he has creeped his way into my heart and I actually love the way it makes me feel.

"I brought you food." He said casually as he joined me on the couch and put the food on the coffee table. "I don't really know what you like, so I bought a bit of everything." He is so thoughtful and I don't even know what to say. The food here is shit and I am so glad that he did this.

"Wow, you are so impressive. Thanks, I love it." I opened the bags and I saw everything he bought, I haven't had any nice meals in months. "If you keep being so sweet and perfect, I might just fall in love." I teased.

"Well that's the plan." I couldn't help but laugh.

"To make me fall in love?" I asked curiously.

"Will that be so bad? After all, you are mine." He said confidently and it turned me on, I love a confident man that knows how to take what he wants.

I checked the time and we have have like thirty minutes left, that's not enough time to have good sex and eat.

"I love it when you claim me and you are lucky we don't have enough time." I have imagined all the things we can do together and the biggest disadvantage of being here is lack of freedom.

"You are right about that, there is no enough time. Now eat..." The first thing I went for was the crispy fried chicken.

"Mmm, this is so good." I moaned when I had a taste of the spicy sweet and sour chicken.

"Please don't make that sound." It almost made me laugh but I understand his frustration, I also want to fuck him but now is not the right time.

"Sorry, my bad." I enjoyed my food quietly and quickly.

"Have you put my contact in your records yet?" He asked again. I have been wanting to ask him about it but with the limited time we have to catch up, I completely forgot.

"What do you mean?"

"I called the warden last week to find out why you didn't show up for therapy but he said you were attacked, so I asked why they didn't contact me and he said that I am not in your records, infact he said that you have no one listed in your records... I don't want that, I want to be the first person they will reach out to when anything concerning you comes up, hopefully not something bad." Is he an angel?

I mean, he is so nice and thoughtful, very caring and unnecessarily worried about me, I can't remember the last time someone was worried about me.

"Okay, give me your contact info and I will go to the warden when I leave here." I agreed immediately because it feels good that someone else is worrying over me.

He got up to write down the contact info... This place has been a little overwhelming, the incident with Shelly, the fact that I can't do what I want right now which is to openly be with Asher and fuck him and also food, I miss good food. I really need to consider getting out of here.

"Ummm Asher, can I use your phone?" I need to call my contact on the outside and the prison phone is being recorded, so I need to use his phone.

It's against the prison rules and he can lose his job and license for this but it's really important, it's for our benefit.

"What did you just say?" He asked as he walked back to me.

"I need to make a call with your phone."
