Chapter 246: I’m Good, Don’t Worry

TUMALIKOD na si Mang Ramon. Panay naman ang bukas-kuyom ng mga kamay ni Reymond. Hindi siya mapakali sa upuan at ilang saglit lang tumayo siya mula rito. Palakad-lakad siya sa harapan ng nakapinid na kurtina. He unconsciously rubbed his hands and tiny beads of sweat popped out in his forehead. He was so nervous for Denise as minutes passed by. 

Maya-maya pa muling lumapit ang nurse sa kanya. May dala itong maliit na papel, laman ang information niya at ni Denise. 

“Sir, pakibayaran lang po ito sa billing department. Kailangan po ng deposit.” 

He stood tall, facing the nurse. He took the paper immediately, “I will just wait for my driver. He just went out a while to buy me water. I will ask him to fetch my wallet left in the car.”
