I hadn’t gone to see Sasha since the day I saw her with Tristan in her house.

She texted me after that day, but I didn’t reply. Today, I decided to give her another chance at accepting my proposal to marry her.

It had been eating at me for days, and I needed an answer to make a decision.

I got ready in the morning putting on a crisp white shirt and my best suit. I looked at myself in the mirror, fixing my tie and running a hand through my hair. I wanted to look my best, to make the best impression.

I got into my car and drove to her house nervous throughout the drive. My mind was racing with thoughts of what she might say, how she might react. I needed this to go well.

When I arrived at Adeline’s mansion, I took a deep breath before ringing the doorbell. The house looked clean, as always.

She opened the door, and a smile spread across her face when she saw me.
