The food tasted differently in my mouth but I didn't really pay attention to it because of the conversation I was having right now. Never in my life, did I think that Gaia would be having this conversation.

I’d always thought that I'd have to do more to get her to even speak to me again, not to even talk of asking me to come see our son.

My chest got tighter as I looked at her but for some reason, I didn't pay attention to it. Was it just me or was it getting chilly here? I couldn’t feel my lips anymore but I didn't want to say anything so I wouldn't interrupt her.
