I still didn't know how I was able to get out of the motel alive.

Barely any time had passed before the paralyzing grip of my weakness had released me, and I found myself standing on my own two feet again, bewildered at the sudden restoration of my strength. It was as if a divine hand had intervened to make this miracle possible.

I had to pick my belongings and run out of there as fast I could.

With a heavy heart and a trembling hand, I found myself facing the grand entrance to Henry's mansion, tears brimming in my eyes and threatening to spill.

My hands trembled as I clenched them into fists, trying in vain to hide the clammy sweat that was pooling in my palms.

Barely able to breathe, my hands shook as I leaned against the cold metal gate, feeling as if the walls of the mansion were closing in on me, making me feel suffocated and claustrophobic.

No I didn't deserve this, Kate shouldn't have done this to me, I felt super dumb for believing her lies.
