I apologize, sir, but I regret to inform you that the young master departed from the mansion no more than two minutes prior to your visit. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," the butler stated, his tone conveying the utmost respect for the authority before him.

Zayn stood with his hands in his pockets, clearly puzzled. He had expected to find Henry in the mansion since the Brundeen company was on break, which usually meant the young master would be home. However, the butler’s words revealed that Henry had recently departed, leaving Zayn wondering about the reason for his absence.

He nodded his head and gave the butler a dismissive wave. He decided that he would stay here for a while, maybe Henry would show up anytime soon.

Three minutes had passed without any sign of Henry, and Zayn’s boredom was beginning to creep in. The thought of stepping out to the hall for some drinks while he waited was becoming appealing to him.
