Chapter 67

THE DEMON under Xurden’s feet was growling. This demon was near the brink of death after his subjugation. Searching for the demons that were on his list was the only thing he could do to make himself busy. Ever since the other day when he left Yric in his friend’s house, he couldn’t concentrate. He’s been restless again.

The bathhouse where he found the demon looked abandoned at night. Chilly air circled the entire place, making his breath visible.

He believed Yric’s word that he would go back to his house, but until that moment, he had heard nothing from the younger boy. Yric wouldn’t answer his calls and kept on rejecting them. He didn’t check on him again at his friend’s house. Because if he did that, it would make him a fool, waiting for someone who disregarded his worry. Even though it turned out like that, he still waited for his call after receiving a message that the younger boy would come back when his friends had gained again the confidence to go out.
