Jaxon's POV

"Good morning, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma," Elder Jasper greets with a fake ass smile across his brown, weathered face.

He and the other three elders along with Jeremy's father, William, sit across from Melanie and Ameer while I sit at the head of the table. The tension in the room is so thick, you couldn't cut it with a knife.

"I'd prefer not to spend my entire Saturday here, so let's get on with this." The irritation is seeping in my tone, but I can care less. Melanie and I are supposed to be leaving now for our date. Also, out of everything we could be discussing...Jeremy Davis? Really?!

"I understand your time is valuable Alpha, so I'll go right into pleading my case," William says as he swallows loudly. "I believe Jeremy was unfairly cut from the team."
