Twenty Six

Melody's POV:

A day at mall was fun.

It's not like I usually used to go out and do shopping. In fact, back in New York, I really wouldn't ever go. Because only those people went there who had friends to hang out with.

But now I realized that it was fun. Especially with Cameron who actually kept on cursing his life for agreeing me to take here.

But I enjoyed it.

I exited the elevator of my hotel and walked in the hallway leading to my room. Looking up at my door I realized I wasn't alone in the whole hallway.

"Amelia." I whispered stopping in my tracks.

She looked up from the phone at me as the frown subsided from her face.

"I-I thought you were inside and not opening. On purpose." She said softly.

She looked tired and sad at the same time.

"Why would I not open?" I asked her as I moved towards the door.

I was trying to act normal even if I felt really happy that she came to see me.

"Because I was mean to you?" She asked.

I took out the keys and inserted it in the keyhole while opening
