Melody's POV:I was still frozen at my spot even though I can hear the clicking of heels coming closer. Before the person could've found me standing there and probably throw me out of the building, I opened the nearest door and went inside. Those were my first instincts.I closed the door behind me hearing the footsteps retreat. I took a sigh of relief but held it back in when I noticed where I was.Right in front of me was a puzzled looking Asher.I mean, I was kind of relieved that I made it to him without dying but as the situation sank in I realized that I hadn't been more nervous than this.Judging from the look on his face he looked pretty surprised to see me too."Melody? What are you doing here?" He asked with furrowed eyebrows.He probably must have thought that I wouldn't come, right? After all he asked me to come at evening not...night. But it wasn't my fault. Melody's POV:Maybe I was too drunk that I was imagining him. Or how else would he be here? Maybe this was a dream after all."What were you doing with him?" Melody's POV: I felt sunlight shining in my eyes making me open them. For a single moment, it felt like everything was spinning as I opened my eyes. I blinked them several times before I could finally make out the room I was in. It was my room. That wasn't the problem. The problem was my head, which was burning inside like it was on fire. I slowly sat up clutching my head. My head felt like it was a burning mess, like my brain had turned into jelly. Pulling my hair away from my face, I saw a paper on the side table with a glass of water. I looked at it for a while with a frown before picking it up. " I didn't left regretting anything that happened last night, if that's what you're thinking. I just had some things to do. Take the aspirin and the headache would be fine. I'll see you soon, angel." Melody's POV:"What is it?" Asher asked looking at my sudden change of expression.I looked at him abruptly as my heart raced.
