Audrey: Last day of high school is always that dramatic time of the year. I sighed as I stared at the kids giggling because they've got awesome after school plans, bucket list completed, pictures with people they cared about and wanted to remember. I scrunched my nose as I noticed the blue haired girl toss confetti in the air and the whole class erupted in cheers. Another kid with brown hair walked in with a big cake and kids followed behind her with drinks and desserts. Today was definitely going to be a big one. No doubt, there was going to be a lot of after school plans, parties are definitely a must. "Hey Lloyd, care for?" My eyes rose to meet red ones. I could tell they were contacts. His black hair swept across his face, covering half of this right eye. His nails clad in black nail polish wrapped around the can he was handing me. I nodded, and collected the can of soda. I didn't want to be a debbie downer and say no. I dropped the can on my table and stared at the clock. Jus

Audrey: My back ached and that was heavily proven by the soreness of my muscles as my back hit the bed. Yesterday was rough as heck. I never expected us to have had so many customers in one night. Asher tripped his plates twice, delivered the wrong orders more times than I could count and nearly lost his cool a lot. I had to apologise frequently for him and his wild cursing when it hit him wrong and hard. We had closed late and since Asher's place was quite far and his car broke down, I invited him to pass the rest of the night at my place. And he couldn't have been more grateful since I spared him the thought of walking the lone street home late in the night.  I heard a thud and behold was Asher passed out on my floor with his front to the ground. He didn't even take off his coat or shoes. Well, who am I to judge him, neither did I. I yawned as my eyes craved to be shut, sleep was very well knocking on my door but I knew better to set my alarm before gi

Enzo: I sighed as I sat on the stool by the counter, spreading peanut butter on my bread and biting into it. I had a sting from waking up again to an empty house. The maid hasn't called in yet and the butler had taken a leave yesterday. Apparently his wife was sick. I had to permit him. I poured myself a glass of cold orange juice and drank it up. I have gotten to used to fending for myself since my parents are never, ever around. Cooking for myself and ruling myself were my speciality. I was hungover from the drinks last night. I knew I shouldn't have taken them but something had to put me out of my misery. My sad reality was today being my birthday and my parents haven't called to wish me or at least send a gift like they usually do. It was as if the older I got, the less they thought about me. I was born in luxury, my parents made sure I had more than enough. I have a sister but she's married now. I hated it when she got engaged and I hated her fiance because I knew he was going

Enzo: Unlike how Bentley's place had turned out after the party, my place was clean. The guys made sure to clean up after themselves. At least my threat worked because my furniture and decorations were still intact. "Goodmorning sir." The cleaner Tabitha said with a smile. She was young, probably in her early twenties and undeniably beautiful. The countless times my hormones were acting out, it took great self-control to keep my hands to myself. I smiled as I recalled the day I made her drink with me. We had both gotten drunk and her professionalism was kept aside. We ended up sharing a kiss but that was as far as it went. It took a miracle for nothing to happen between us. And I'm sure that experience is something we'd both like to forget. "Morning Tabitha." My groggy voice came as I yawned."I reckon the place was alive yesterday." From her implying tone, I knew she knew about the party. Not that I was trying to hide it."Surprise birthday party from my friends. It was really thou

Audrey: The past few weeks have been hell for me. I barely had enough time for myself as my part time jobs were taking up almost all of them. I hang out with Martin while we are at the pool, working as life guards but other than that, I rarely get to see him. I do visit the library once in a while to get a head start on college work. I really wanted to put in a good effort once I get accepted. Martin being a Microbiology student, did help me out from time to time when he was done with his shift and I was on mine. I had applied to Stanford because I knew my CGPA would be good. I always was a straight 'A' student. And taking Spanish as my elective was a bonus for me."Hey Audri." I snapped out of my thoughts to find Martin sitting on my bed. Who let him in?"Martin? You're here? How?" I asked, trying to stifle a yawn.He simply pointed at my tree and wind

Audrey:Summer vacation was fun while it lasted and like Daniel said, Stanford acceptance came out early. It really was a long and anxious waiting game and in case I didn't get in, I had university of San Francisco to back me up.Asher and I had sat in sever anxiety the night when Bentley texted that he's gotten accepted into Stanford University for the medical science and urged us to check our emails. Daniel texted next into getting accepted for the same course and so did Luca. Carter had decided to go to Stanford with his friends but under a different course, Biomedical Engineering. He claimed he couldn't handle pursuing a doctorate degree and I understood him. Everyone should go for what they can handle. Everyone had all checked theirs except I and Asher. Martin had even called to inform me about the admissions being handed out to those eligible and I had told him I was aware. He asked if I had gotten in but I told him I hadn't checked yet. My heart was

Enzo: My head was all over the place as my preparation for college had me neck deep. And as an athlete, I had a lot more forms to fill and things to do. I had gotten my room in the student athlete's apartment, and registered myself to be able to earn through playing basketball.  I know it's a lot for me but staying at the apartment in Mirrielees was beneficial was us athletes because the coaches would be able to keep proper tabs on us. And I was pursuing a higher degree but by being an average Stanford Athletics, I had a flexible schedule to accommodate both my sports and my studies. I just had to balance both times equally. I couldn't let sports cut in too much into my study time. Rebecca came down with her kids to help me prepare for college. Her husband came but he left two days after. My mother was around but my dad left roughly three days later. He had an important business trip. But at least I was grateful that he graced me with his presence before

Audrey: Settling down in college was not an easy task. Everything was entirely different from high school and more advanced. Finding my way around was hell as I always found a way of getting lost. I got late a few times to my classes but after a month, I kinda got a hang of the environment. My parents called once in a while to check up on me and how I was coping. Mum had accompanied me to Redwood city to help get me settled but she left three days later. I had very well completed my registrations for my required classes and gotten the names of a few of my teachers handling my classes. Of all my classes so far, Anatomy was my favourite. Physiology wasn't so bad but histology was a pain the ass. I had to spend extra hours visiting a library just to keep my understanding up to date. I sighed as I walked into t

Audrey:   My attention was dedicated to the woman standing infront of the class, teaching. It was more of an interactive session as she urged students to voice out their opinions and she'd shed more light on it.   I was able to jot down a lot because I understood quite well. Funny how I had researched on this topic but didn't understand it as much as I did now.   My eyes shifted to the boy sitting beside me. He had an elbow propped on the desk to support his head as he occasionally twirled the pen in his hands or tapped it against his notebook. His brows would furrow every now and then, and he'd write something constructive on his notebook.   I saw his hands move coordinatedly against the book and I immediately got curious. He pouted his lips, carrying half his attention on what he was writing and what the professor was saying.

Enzo: My eyes were focused on the woman who had summoned me. Judging by her features, she was very young. Probably in her middle thirties. From the look on her face, I could tell she wasn't very pleased with my performance nor behaviour in her class. Scratch that, she wasn't pleased at all. Her face wore the most stern expression, and I immediately knew that it was not a good sign. I approached her, with a hand rubbing my nape. I brought my eyes up to meet hers and she just shook her head. "Really? Misbehaving during my lecture and you're expecting to understand Anatomy? Are you a joke?" She queried me.I winced, "I just asked for help, how does that make me a joke?" I questioned, raising a brow at her. So maybe I wasn't exactly asking for help from the pretty burnett I was sitting next to. But to defend my claims, she was holding a somewhat educational conversation with me."Listen Santana, you were brought to my class because your grades were bad..." She reminded me."I know, I w
