We slept in the safe house and spent the whole next day monitoring the area. Vampires controlled the majority of the land, their groups patrolling the lone wolves' village as well. We were able to get as close as possible so that they wouldn't notice us. Vampires didn't have such an advanced sense of smell compared to werewolves. Their ability to detect a person from afar could be achieved only when a drop of blood was mixed with all the nature aromas.

As soon as the day fell into the darkness of the night, we sneaked undetected to the village. Well, undetected by the vampires. The werewolves who lived there were very much aware of uninvited guests slipping through the fence. A wolf could smell another wolf even more than a mile away.

"Why, hello. We wondered when you would stop hiding in the bushes and finally show up."
