Perfect Superhero Villain

Iris's POV

I struggled to find a voice inside of me to scream.

There were screams in my head, my scream, and doubts in my heart, my train of thoughts began to crumble and I could feel the effect.

I kept my eye fixated on Arthur and almost slapped myself for daydreaming, but reality was cruel enough to remind me that I was conscious and sane. I shifted my gaze from him for a moment and saw what had become of my happy ending.

My dream wedding which was perfect few minutes ago was still perfect, a perfect walking disaster.

People screamed at the top of their voices and, coupled with the ear-piercing gunshots been fired, I almost ran mad, but I became surprisingly calm. I wanted to see what would be the end of everything happening.
