Iris's POV

I couldn't stop the tears as they rolled down my cheeks like it was an highway.

The more I tried to stop he more I cried bitterly, Arthur couldn't look me in the eye as he drove as fast as he could. He tried to pacify me and gently touched my hands but I slapped it away and looked outside the window.

The sound of my crying became rhythmic with the sound of the running engine of the car.

My cries intensified as we journeyed past the familiar road to Arthur's mansion. The moment he try to speak I'll raise my voice even higher and cry louder until the sound of my cries overshadowed his own voice hence he relented and didn't speak to me anymore.
