Kelvin Is Now My Enemy!

Arthur's POV

I'm not sure of what reaction to give to Kelvin's mastery of lies, I could only marvel at him. I noticed his eyes were fixated on mine, and he didn't flinch, though he looked tensed, yet he was able to perfectly mask it.

Our training wasn't in vain, and he was using it to his advantage at the moment.

It was just hard having to stand before the one person I would lay down my life for and watch him betraying me without blinking an eye.

He chuckled nervously and ran his fingers through his hair; an action of his that signified that he was gaining more confidence and would lie through his teeth. I sighed quietly and was grateful that I knew him really well; hence I would have an internal conflict even with all the evidence I've gathered against him.

We were sworn into brotherhood and have gone through a series of hell for one another, we've dined with demons and betrayed the devil himself just to support one another, but his betrayal hurt more than the scars I've amassed
