"What did you just say?"
Luca said slowly, his face blank with any emotion. "I said what you heard. I had a discussion with Don Marino and we came to an agreement that it will be beneficial to the both of us if you get married to his daughter. Just see this as a chance to strengthen the bond between the two families." Mr Giorgi replied unfazed by the look on Luca's face. Luca stood up abruptly, slamming his fist on the table. "I didn't ask for your help, old man. You can't just fix a marriage and expect me to comply" Mr Giorgi stared at Luca straight in his eyes, his face showing no emotion. He wasn't surprised at Luca's outburst. "I can give you all the time you need to process this information but make sure it doesn't take too long. Don't act selfishly and don't forget it's a family tradition." "Screw you and that damn tradition. I'm the Capo of this organization and I can decide to change the tradition if I please" Mr Giorgi's face turned hot red in anger as he clenched his jaw to avoid reacting impulsively. " Luca it's final and there's nothing you can do about it, Marino already told his daughter and she already accepted so I advise you stop being hard headed…" " Then she'll just have to cancel," Luca declared, cutting his father off. " Don't even think of doing anything stupid" Mr Giorgi replied,a challenge in his voice. The room fell silent as the tension between father and son became palpable. From the corner of his eyes, Luca could see his Mom staring at him with fear and concern in her eyes. She has always been afraid to go against her husband but she also loved her son very well so she always stayed neutral anytime they had an argument. "I'm not having this conversation with you," Mr Giorgi said, breaking the silence. Standing from his seat, Luca glared at his father as he spoke, "F**k you, I'm not marrying that girl and I'll make sure of that" He picked up his car key and jacket before leaving the house. Mr Giorgi stared at the retreating figure of his son with a solemn expression on his face. He stood up from his seat and made his way to his bedroom. "Well, that was quite a show. Isn't it, Mom?" Sebastian said with a smirk as soon as his father was out of sight. "Don't start, Sebastian," Mrs Giorgi said in a stern voice. " Don't start what?" He retorted back, faking oblivion. " Did you have any idea about this?" " Nope, it's fresh news to me too," Sebastian said, leaning back on his seat. " That's why I'm more fit for the Capo" ——— Luca walked into the club, the building filled with loud music and sweaty people. The club belonged to Marcus and it was a place they usually hung out when they were not too busy dealing with business stuff. Making his way through the back to avoid having to walk amongst the sweaty bodies in the club,he used the private stairs to Marcus's office. He knew that Marcus would be in his office because he spent most of his time there. Marcus opened the club a year ago and it was already blooming. It was always filled with people because everybody liked the idea of coming to the club of a very successful businessman. When Luca got to Marcus's office door,he could hear hushed conversation behind the door. He entered the office not bothering to knock, which Marcus didn't mind most of the time. Luca looked at the man seated across from Marcus. He had a buff body,a very sharp jawline which was lined with short stubble. He stared back at Luca without batting an eye. The bright florescent bulb casted a warm glow on his olive skin. The conversation came to a halt as soon as he walked in but he didn't pay heed to it as he had other important things bothering him. As Luca entered Marcus' office, he couldn't help but notice the man sitting across from Marcus. He had sharp, angular features, with a prominent, angular jaw that was lined with short stubble and also a harsh scar ran down the side of his face starting from his eyebrow down to his nose. Luca's eye was drawn to the tattoo which ran from his neck to his forearm, a snake which was curled around a hot flaming knife. He gave Luca a curt nod before making his way out of the office not sparing a word at Luca. Marcus turned to Luca, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes. He hadn't expected Luca to be here but at the dinner with his family. "Dinner was a disaster, right?" Luca dropped himself on the chair across from Marcus, his face hardened from anger and frustration. "Father had the audacity to set up a marriage with Marino's daughter" Luca started, not bothering to beat around the corner. "Marino doesn't have a daughter right?" Marcus said, lost in thought. "But I did hear a rumor that he had an affair outside his marriage and had a child outside marriage.I didn't think it was true. Adele, that's her name" " Well it's fucking true and Father expects me to marry her" Luca said, pouring himself a glass from the whiskey bottle on the desk. "That's a bummer dude" Marcus said, chugging down his own glass. "So what are you going to do? Marry her?" "Not funny," Luca said. " I'll just have a little chat with Adele" Marcus shook his head at Luca's word. " I really don't think it's a bad idea," he said in a casual tone. " I mean you're going to get married sooner or later, why not let the love form now" Marcus said receiving a hard glare from Luca. "I came down here for a drink, I'm not ready for this conversation" Luca managed to say through gritted teeth. "Let's go downstairs to the club and grab a drink" Marcus raised his hands in a surrendering gesture,a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. " Okay, okay" He said standing from his chair. " I'll stop pushing it" Luca followed behind Marcus as they made their way downstairs, the loud thump of the music getting louder as they got closer.Alexandra handed the knife over to Aurora, her friend, so that she could cut the cake. Aurora has been her friend since they were in high school but as they grew up,they stopped communicating frequently but that didn't stop the bond between them."Happy birthday, Rory," Alexandra said, taking a seat on the plush cushion beside Aurora. "Make a wish and blow out your candles, I want cake" Alexandra laughed out loudly as she watched Aurora blow out the last of her candle. Aurora wiped away the imaginary sweat from her forehead as he released an exaggerated sigh."Is this a plan for you to kill me and eat all my cake?" Aurora said feigning exhaustion. " I almost lost my breath. Did you really have to put that many candles on the cake?"" Yeah duh! It's just 24 candles" Alexandra said, rolling her eyes. " Each for every year you've spent on earth, and I'm pretty sure that it's not that hard to put out a candle." Aurora rolled her eyes at Alexandra's words.Alexandra laughed at Aurora's ex
Luca and Marcus sat in the elevated area of the V.I.P section of the club, looking down at the people partying below. The voluptuous glow of the light casted shadows on their faces as they sipped from their drinks. The music pulsed through their veins as they enjoyed the view. The go-go dancers moved their bodies seductively to the slow rhythm of the music trying to get the attention of the occupant of the V.I.P. The private part of the club has a private show where they're entertained by private dancers.Luca and Marcus watched with an air of detachedness. They have come to the club plenty of times and have seen this multiple times that they have become bored of it. The dancers continued dancing, moving closer but not too close to them.Luca leaned back in his seat, swirling the amber liquid in his glass as he checked his phone.Marcus gestured at one of the dancers to come closer. She had a tall, slender physique which was Marcus's speck in ladies. She had a hungry look in her eyes
Alexandra walked closely behind Aurora as they stepped into the club not wanting to lose sight of her. The interior view overwhelmed her and she almost had a sensory overload from all the things she was feeling at that moment. The music was very loud and the beats thumped hard making her skin vibrate. The dim flashing light casted dark shadows on the faces of the people dancing in the club. This was her first time entering inside a club before. She had always seen one from afar and it had been on her highschool bucket list to go to a club. She felt her inner child squeal from delight that she had finally crossed that off.Micheal excused himself and made his way into the club getting lost in the swarm of people. Aurora held Alexandra's hand as she led her towards the crowd to the bar. "Two glasses of fruity fizz please" Aurora said to the bartender as she settled into her seat. Alexandra looked around enjoying the view around her.Leaning towards Aurora, she said loudly, "I'm glad you
Luca felt his phone vibrate in his pocket indicating a call. He pulled it from his pocket and checked the caller ID, seeing that it's from Marcus, his expression turned serious. Marcus hardly calls unless it's an emergency. "Excuse me, I'll be right back" He said to Alexandra as he walked to a more quiet part of the club."What's wrong?" He said as soon as he answered the call. "We need to head out now, just received word from our spy that Elias sent his men to the club for an ambush" Marcus's tense voice said through the speaker. Before Luca could say a word, a sudden round of gunshots fired into the air causing havoc and chaos in the club. The people in the club ran in different directions trying to protect themselves, shoving over weak people and trampling on them.Luca forced himself through the crowd of panicked people, his eyes focused on looking for Alexandra. He held the butt of his gun in his hand, aiming it to shoot at a rival that was on the top floor. He went upstairs to
TRIGGER WARNING!!!The unrestrained screams of pain echoed in the air disturbing the calmness of the night. The creaking of the crickets were overshadowed by the screams. A man strapped to a chair kept on screaming as the other people in the room pretended like there wasn't a man screaming from pain. A needle was inserted in his neck as a yellowish liquid flowed into his bloodstream. He fought against his restraint trying to get the needle off him. The more the liquid was injected in him,the more pain intensified. His muscles clenched as they were affected by the drug flowing into his system. His body felt like hot lava was being injected into it. His heartbeat increased and decreased as it strained painfully in his ribcage.Luca walked into the room, his eyes taking in the scene before him. Noticing his presence, the men stood on guard, nodding in greetings before they went on to what they were doing.Luca made his way closer to the injured man, Marcus following behind him. He observed
The early morning sunlight streaming through the tiny gap from the curtain shone on Alexandra's face, stirring her awake. The deep musky scent on the pillow invaded her nostrils making her snuggle closer into it mummering incoherently in her sleep. She held the pillow closer, inhaling the scent in an unladylike manner. She snapped her eyes open when she heard the soft creak of the door indicating that it was being opened. She stood up quickly making her head feel dizzy. The blanket fell off her body, tangling her leg and making her fall off the bed, landing face flat on the floor. Her skin flushed as a wave of embarrassment washed over her.She let out a meek squeak as her body laid on the floor in an ungraceful manner. She pressed her face on the cold hard surface of the tiled floor trying to calm her aching head. After laying on the floor for a moment, she finally pushed herself up trying to steady herself as she was still in her heels from last night. Her eyes moved to the door to s
"You have nothing to worry about, your friend is fine" he assured her, watching as her shoulders relaxed at his words. He released a deep chuckle before he added, "Now the table is turned. You're at my house this time" Alexandra raised her head to look at him before saying, " I guess we are even now" She said in a soft voice. " I really think it's time for me to go"" Sure, I understand," Luca replied with a nod. " But we'll have to get you something presentable to wear before heading home. How about we go buy some clothes and then you go"Alexandra immediately shook her head in protest. " That's very generous of you but I…" Luca held up a hand stopping her mid sentence. "I'm not taking no for an answer" He said in a firm tone as he stared at her. "Just a dress, this one you're wearing right now looks like it was made in the late 1800s" Alexandra's face heated up at his words. She knew that the clothes were too big on her but he didn't have to point it out like that. Swallowing the
Alexandra got closer to her apartment with a huge grin playing on her lips. She half skipped and half walked to her apartment, her face bright with excitement. Her smile dropped when she noticed a figure crouched in front of her door.As though noticing her presence, the person looked towards Alexandra's direction, revealing a family face. "Aurora!" Alexandra's voice echoed in the hallway as she saw her friend. She had forgotten the main reason she was worried at first and suddenly she felt like a bad friend for forgetting her friend.Aurora quickly stood up as she rushed towards Alexandra before enveloping her in a very tight hug.Aurora hugged her tightly, not letting go as tears formed in her eyes. "Thank Goodness that you're safe," she breathed out in a shaky voice. "I was so worried when I couldn't find you in the club. I thought… I thought something bad had happened to you."Alexandra patted Aurora's back feeling bad that she had caused her friend so much worry. " I tried to look
