Later at night, Alice and Devon stood in his bedroom, as Alice when to the bathroom to change into her nightwear. She came back out to find Devon standing close to the bathroom door.

Alice lowered her head and hid it with her hair, which fell from both sides of her face. She felt giddy and nervous when she realized Devon was going to be sleeping next to her.

He smiled warmly at her and waltzed close to where stood.

“Let’s get some sleep. It’s getting late” Devon grabbed her hand and led her back to the enormous bed.

The words “Let’s sleep” alone made Alice’s heart rate increase rapidly, her nervousness increasing. She stopped in her tracks and looked anxiously at him.
