Chapter 2: Cheeky Girl

“You're finally going to get your wolf!” happily exclaimed by Cindy, the daughter of Beta Jack.

She was with Princess Hana at the moment while walking towards where the party will be held. They have been best friends since they were a pup as Cindy's father was the older brother of Princess Hana's father.

“I'm so happy for you, finally, you'll be able to come with us and enjoy the scenery outside our pack's periphery” she added while beaming in joy.

It was their pack's rule that those who still haven't awakened their wolf will be forbidden from leaving the pack's periphery as they don't have the ability to protect themselves if danger arises. So the younger generation who haven’t gone through their awakening are like prisoners in the pack, unable to leave until they awakened their wolf.

“But what if I wasn't able to awaken it?” Princess Hana replied asking pessimistically.

“What are you so pessimistic about? Believe in yourself! You're princess Hana, the daughter of the Alpha!”

“Yeah.. I guess” Princess Hana replied unsure, she was nervous as she was the princess, the daughter of the Alpha. What will the others say if she wasn't able to awaken her wolf?.

Just thinking about it made her very pressured. The two of them arrived at the venue after walking for a long time. The two guards guarding the door opened it, allowing the two to get inside. The moment they got in, joyful sounds of voices entered their ears.

“Princess Hana of the Silver Moon Pack has arrived!”

After the two went in, a loud shout attracted everyone's attention as they look towards the door. In there, two gorgeous lady could be seen walking gently, all the mate-less males present in the party have their eyes solely focus to Princess Hana's figure.

She was so beautiful, second only to the moon goddess. They couldn't take off their eyes on her as if it was glued.

Alpha Broderick and Luna Dianne went towards their daughter before having a little talk, afterwards, they all went towards their seat. As Princess Hana's arrival only means one thing, the event is finally starting.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the awaited moment has finally come. Princess Hana of the Silver Moon Pack will be turning 18 and will awaken her wolf, so before the ceremony start, I humbly request everyone to settle down”. Everyone sat on their respective chairs and waited for the emcee to continue.

“So as to start, I'll call the name of the guest or subject of the pack to please come forward and present their gift to our beautiful celebrant”. The emcee stated, it was to make sure that everything goes well and to avoid chaos.

“Alpha Blacky of the Black Spot Pack”

After the emcee chanted the name, a person wearing a black thick clothes stood up, in his hand were a beautifully designed small chest. He was exuding a mighty pressure that makes him different from other's.

“Princess Hana, daughter of the respected Silver Moon Pack's Alpha, I give you this gift as a sign of acknowledgement and respect” he humbly said towards Hana.

“Thank you for the gift, Alpha Blacky” Princess Hana replied with a faint smile on her face, her voice was so sweet that it even enchanted Alpha Blacky.

“It's my pleasure, Princess” Alpha Blacky replied before he went back to his seat.

After him was another Alpha from the other pack, the same thing happened over and over again. A name will be called and he/she will then present gift.

Several hours passed and everyone had finally given their gift with the exemption of Alpha Broderick and Luna Dianne as it was still a secret. The next phase of the event was dancing, when there's an event, dancing will always be present. Many male interested in princess Hana flocked towards her direction asking her for a dance.

However, all of them left disappointed as Princess Hana rejected them one by one. Alpha Broderick smiled seeing his daughter rejecting their invitation. He walked towards her and asked her for a dance.

Princess Hana accepted it without hesitation, she and her father dance beautifully among the crowd. After some time, the two of them took the spotlight as everyone watched from the sidelines, hooked by how well the two danced.

“You're so good in dancing. Who taught you?” Alpha Broderick praised that her daughter was good at it.

“I've trained so hard just for this day, that's why I don't want to waste it to some strangers and only accepted yours” Princess Hana replied smiling meaningfully.

“You cheeky girl” Alpha Broderick muttered smiling bitterly.

“We've come to the final phase of our celebration, Princess Hana's awakening ceremony will start in less than 10 minutes!” the emcee stated in a loud voice gaining the audience salvo.

'It's finally here' Princess Hana thought as she started to feel nervous. The emcee called her out asking to walk towards the altar. Everyone then formed a circle around it where Princess Hana was currently standing.

They then went to their knees and prayed to the moon goddess to bestow her gift. The clouds above the sky departed as the rays from the moon lightened up Princess Hana's beautiful figure.

All the people surrounding the altar turned into wolves in different sizes. The Alpha's from different packs were noticeably big and have a thick strong fur. The other wolf on the other hand are only half the size of the Alpha's.

Loud howling sound escaped from their mouths as if calling for something, it reverberated through the pack house as the bright rays coming from the moon got brighter and brighter.

Princess Hana couldn’t keep her eyes open from the blinding light and was forced to close it. While inside her head praying that her hesitation was void. She prayed that she'll awaken her wolf, that her father, the Alpha will be proud of her.

As the moonlight keeps on getting brighter, Princess Hana's figure could no longer be seen by everyone. They all started distancing themselves from the altar with their heads lowered on the ground in respect.

Several minutes passed and finally the blinding lights disappeared without a trace. The place went silent as everyone saw Princess Hana standing still on top of the Altar.
