Chapter 1: Awakening Ceremony

Yawn~

A beautiful girl with a red hair yawned gracefully as she woke up from her sleep. Her eyes were half close while her two hands was caressing her messy hair gently.

She was none other than princess Hana of the Silver Moon Pack. She have orange eyes with black pupils, well proportioned face and jaw line, red lovely lips, and angelic face that every other woman next to her will feel ashamed.

Bang!

“Happy 18th Birthday!”

The door of her room suddenly burst open and a beautiful lady wearing a long gown that was green in color walked in with a man beside her. They greeted her joyfully after entering the room which stunned princess Hana as she was caught off guard.

Her reaction made the two chuckle in delight.

Princess Hana finally regained her calm and smiled wryly at the two. “Mom, Dad, thank you. You both are the sweetest gift the moon goddess has bestowed upon me”

“Ah… Sweetheart. You are also the best gift the moon goddess have given us” the beautiful woman, which is princess Hana's mother replied warmly. “Isn't it Broderick?”

The man who went in besides the woman smiled. He have a big build, strong body, have thick mustache and beard on his face. His clothes were heavy that looks like clothes of vikings, but it can't be denied that he looks cool and handsome.

“Your mother is right. You'll always be the gem of our life, a gem that we must protect and love”. Broderick stated as he stretched his hand hooking her mother in her waist. He then look at their daughter with a big smile on his face and said. “Today is your 18th birthday, are you excited?”

“Of course! Who wouldn't be excited?” Princess Hana replied quickly as she sprang up to her feet while her eyes were misty. “Everyone knows that 18th birthday is a special one. I have been waiting for this day to come, this is the day for me to awaken my wolf and become beautiful like mom”.

“You're flattering me sweetie”. Her mother said sweetly while clasping her hands together to her chest. “Hey Broderick, don't you think she's in her right age to find a mate?”

Princess Hana's mother said elbowing Broderick from the side, who then smiled wryly and said. “I think she's still— Yeah of course! She's in the right age!”

Alpha Broderick changed what he was about to say halfway seeing his Luna looking at him meaningfully.

“Stop talking about that” Princess Hana spoke shyly. She's still not prepared for such a thing, a lot of her peer might be excited for it but she isn't.

Lots of male in their pack wanted to have her, not only is she beautiful, her father was also the Alpha. If they could possess her, their chance of rising in status will be in reach. That's why, she's kind of afraid, afraid that everyone's interest was solely on the Alpha's position and that she was nothing but a trophy.

“Alright sweetie. We'll be taking our leave first. We still have lots of things to prepare for your birthday party and ceremony” Her mother stated before leaving the room with Broderick after kissing her forehead.

“Ceremony huh?”

The ceremony was a ritual, it was a kind of calling from the moon goddess to bestow gift to the person turning 18, it was like a catalyst for her to have her wolf.

“I hope everything goes well” She muttered to herself before lying back to bed.

In the evening.

Finally, the awaited moment has finally arrived. The pack house which was the venue of the event was decorated grandly. Torches and lamps lighting the place with people full of smile on their faces.

Various people well known in their pack could be seen everywhere having conversations. Some of them were important figures from other pack invited to join the 18th birthday of the Silver Moon Pack Princess.

After several minutes passed, a man and a woman entered the place exuding royal pressure to the others. Everyone looked at them in awe, they truly are a pair made by heaven. The both of them wore clothes that was considered high class in their pack.

Their arrival at the venue made the place pin dropping silent. The guest and spectators even hold their breath afraid to disturb the two.

“Let us all welcome the arrival of our very own Silver Moon Pack's ruling leader!

”Venerable Alpha Broderick and his beautiful Luna Dianne!“ the emcee of the event announced in a very respectful manner.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

The guest and spectators clapped their hands in unison. Alpha Broderick was greatly respected by everyone because of how he leads his people. He was also considered as the strongest werewolf of their pack since the past decades.

Their ancestors might not be a match for him in a fight. Not only in this aspect, even his benevolence and just decision was above of what their ancestors has to offer before. With this kind of Alpha, what they do in return was to be loyal and respect him with all their hearts.

”Thank you so much everyone for making it here. Today, our daughter and princess of the Silver Moon Pack will be turning 18. A special day that must be celebrated and your presence here are very much appreciated. I, the Alpha of this pack, the Father of the celebrant, warmly welcomes you all”

Alpha Broderick greeted warmly before welcoming everyone for coming. His action made everyone feel pleased, the Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack is kind and hospitable, not only that, he is also humble even though he was the Alpha.

“It's our pleasure Alpha Broderick” the guest said as they bow their heads. Although they were Alpha’s of their own pack, they considered Alpha Broderick very worthy of their respect.

“Long Live Alpha Broderick!”

Nobody knows who shouted it first but that doesn't matter as everyone did follow its lead.

“Long Live Alpha Broderick!”

“Long Live Alpha…”

“Long Live...”

The atmosphere was filled with happiness and excitement, it was after a few minutes passed that everything went back to normal. Alpha Broderick and his Luna walked towards their guests, greeting them happily. They are only waiting for the birthday celebrant to arrive for the real party to start.

Several minutes passed before a loud shout was heard.

“Princess Hana of the Silver Moon Pack has arrived!”
