Once again, don't read this if you don't want any possible spoilers.
This one is a bit shorter, I am probably going to add some more to it once I really start writing. But for now it's enough to paint a picture of Torin I think.
And pleae let me know what you think.

chapter 2 : Better
Torin’s pov
‘You need to be more careful,’ Troy, my wolf, said the third time the vermin fell off his back.
I could have let him handle the run. He would have been more gentle with the girl. But she needed to learn her place.
To her, my hatred probably came out of nowhere. But I had learned to hate her family from the moment I had been born.
For appearances sake, I had to show respect to the alpha heirs. I could even tolerate the brother. Ruan seemed to know his place and opted to attend gamma training instead of alpha training. But the vermin especially got on my nerves.
Ardale used to mean something. It was a school exclusively for future alphas and betas. Then they let future gammas join and then the possible Lunas.
It was a joke really, because anyone could become a Luna. All you need is to be mated to an alpha.
Just look at the Vermin’s mother.
A half-breed.
By now the half-breed has created half a soccer team with her two mates. Which is all fine and dandy, I guess. Until they start pretending these pups are equals.
They all share the same double last names, as if we don’t have eyes to clearly spot who fathered which child.
Her presence here is just the start. It was a joke really that her father, Zev, was allowed to attend this school. But now she is here, and it might lead to even fewer wolves entering these sacred school grounds.
I growled at vermin to hurry up. I wanted to be the first to finish. If it were up to me, I would have done every task myself, but since I wasn’t allowed to shift back and this required hands, I was forced to watch the girl stumble and fail.
Finally she succeeded with the first task, and she looked at me with a little smile, “on to the next one?”
I pushed her to the side; she once again landed on her ass. The next task wasn’t far away, so she could walk there.
Her presence so close to me irritated me beyond belief. The touch of her hands on Troy’s fur made my skin crawl. Her scent was far too strong and nauseated me.
‘She smells like cinnamon. Aren’t Hot Tamales and Red Hots your favorite?’ Troy said, much to my annoyance.
‘She doesn’t smell like cinnamon at all.’ I argued. ‘She stinks.’
I reached the next task. Fuck, I did need the stinky vermin here for this one.
I watched her as she ran towards me. She’s pretty fast with those short little stumps. With every step she came closer, I could see her breasts bouncing in her top more clearly.
If I didn’t hate her so much, I would have considered sleeping with her.
Little vermin over there, just bouncing towards me, is not bad-looking. I mean, she’s got a nice ass, and her boobs look fine. It’s the face that bothers me, though. Every time she gazes at me, I can't help but notice the look in her eyes.
There’s no fucking respect. There's no evidence of submissiveness. Nothing. She does not seem to realize how much difference there is between the two of us. How much better I am than her.
She should be scared to even make eye contact with me.
“Sorry, sorry! I’m here.” She said and quickly began her next task. Since it wasn’t something I was supposed to help with, I didn’t bother looking at what it was. Seriously, Mr. Bianco needed to step up his game. Up to now, it seems too easy.
“So, um, from what I have deciphered, the next part of the challenge is going to be us sparring against another team? I’m trying to read this map and,-“
I growled impatiently. Figure it the fuck out! It can’t be that hard.
“Oh, oh, you’re supposed to go here.” She said, pointing at the map. As if that would help us. We were in the middle of the woods!
She smiled at me awkwardly, “there is a river nearby, so if I could just climb on your back again and we go listen for the sound of water? Or the scent of water, I don’t know.”
It wasn’t a bad idea.
Thankfully I didn’t have to tell Vermin that. Instead I lowered myself down and let my partner climb on. But not before dropping her once.
I liked hearing her little squeals as she fell down.
“Ass,” she muttered under her breath.
I growled and bared my teeth, which made her take a step back. “Let’s go?” She said as she awkwardly bounced on her feet. Nerd.
She climbed back up, this time pulling on my hair painfully hard to make sure I wouldn’t drop her. I’d get her back for that.
Once I heard the vague sounds of water flowing across the stones near the river, I took off. When we reached the river, there was a wolf and a guy waiting for us.
I shook my body, forcing Vermin to fall off. She landed on her face this time. Right into the mud.
“Um, I’ll give you a minute before we spar?” The stupid boy said to Vermin.
Seriously? Take the advantage…
'I thought you wanted to win. It’s a team effort, Torin.’ My wolf scolded me.
I ignored his words and began stalking my prey. The wolf opposite me was a bit smaller than me. I recognized his scent. It was another Alpha heir, called Gavin. He’s from a smaller pack like mine, yet he feels no need to prove himself.
Doesn’t he know the only way a pack grows in size is to take over another alpha’s land? And to be able to do that, we need to be better than the rest. We need to study harder, fight dirty, and do anything to get ahead, while people from the larger packs get everything handed to them.
Yet another reason to hate the girl next to me, who was wiping the mud off her mouth.
“Thanks, Harlan, but I’m okay to start.” Vermin replied, as she walked towards him.
I didn’t bother learning the names of anyone except the alpha heirs. The rest of the people here would be our staff. Why waste time on them?
‘Yet you don’t see it as a waste of time to torment Kiana.’ Troy remarked.
‘Just focus on the fucking fight.’
Gavin and I started to spar. There were rules at Ardale when it came down to fighting. Obviously no killing. But the rules differ for fights between those who have a wolf and those who are underage.
When fighting as a wolf, whoever submits loses. Baring your neck, showing your stomach. Other than that, it’s pretty much all bets are off. We can heal faster because of our wolves, and we’re much stronger. Giving animals a bunch of rules wouldn’t work anyway.
When it comes to sparring as humans, there are a bit more rules.
No cheap shots; no kicks in the balls, fingers in the eyes, etc. Nothing that can permanently scar you. No cutting off circulation for longer than thirty seconds. Preferably no breaking off bones, but that’s not always possible.
Whoever taps out, verbally or by barring their neck or literally tapping the floor, loses.
I knew that no matter what, I’d be winning this match. But both of us needed to succeed, and from what I had seen, Vermin wasn’t really a fighter.
As I fought with Gavin, my attention kept getting diverted to the match next to me. Where Gavina and I growled, Harlan and Vermin grunted and moaned. Especially Vermin’s grunts were very distracting.
Can’t she fight in silence?
It sounded more like she was having sex than fighting.
Even though I knew I needed to keep my focus on my own fight, I couldn’t help but look over.
Harlan had Vermin in a hold, and she was trying her best to get out of it. Most would have tapped out by now, but not Vermin, it seems.
She saw me looking her way and gave me a reassuring nod, as if she was trying to let me know she would not disappoint me.
Good girl.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Vermin flipped her sparring partner, now straddling him.
He smiled up at her, “where did you learn that?”
She giggled, “I have three brothers, remember. I’m not strong, but I’m flexible and fast.”
“Flexible, huh…?” Harlan said in a flirty manner. Before he could say more, Vermin moved quickly and had his head locked in a hold using her legs.
He laughed before tapping out, “Flexible indeed, Kia.”
I growled at them both. Why weren’t they taking this seriously?
Gavin took advantage of my distraction and grabbed me by the neck. Fucking Vermin almost cost me my match!
Okay, I know, I was supposed to write the final chapters, but then I suddenly thought about the twin brothers. and I started coming up with another idea and I had to write two more chapters....So. Now you can choose lol.Either Kiana or Kai.This story would be called Hunting my rogue or something along those lines. It starts a bit sad and is about second chance mates.chapter 1:Liraz’s pov“You need to run, Lee.”“No, Mom… You’re strong. You can do this! Just fight it.” I tried. I didn’t want to go. She had held it back for so long.Mom shook her head as tears ran down her face. Her hands had begun to turn into claws, and fur began to appear on her skin. “No, sweetie. It’s time. Go, please.”“But, -““Liraz!” Mom growled. “You listen to your mother for one damn time!”I bared my neck in submission, feeling the power of her growl. “I’m sorry, Mom, I’m just…”“Don’t apologize, Lee. Just run!” Mom said. I could hear the pain in her voice as she was trying to hold her wolf back."Maybe
Zev’s pov“Do you want to do the honors?” Lana asked me.“Shouldn’t you or Raiden tell everyone?” I replied as I played with my mate's hair.Raiden smiled at me, “well, you did all the hard work, so you deserve it more.”I laughed, “hard work? Weren't you the one who started complaining one month in because you were getting tired of having sex multiple times a day?”“While it was hard work, it was also very satisfying…." Raiden said, staring at our mate with lust in his eyes. "But you were doing the real hard work, watching me come inside our mate for months while you couldn’t.” Raiden replied with a wink. “But now we can go back to our regular positions!”“I think that might make him even happier than me being pregnant,” Lana giggled.“Almost, little wolf of mine, almost.” Raiden bended over to kiss Lana. He stood back up straight and looked at me, “Hey, man. I was thinking. We should let all the kids have the same last name.”“All the kids? How many do you think we’ll have?” I laugh
Atalanta’s pov “Those are the twins.” My new roommate, Suzie, said. I had been here one week now, and she kept hanging around me. Suzie…. It’s such a sweet name. Why did a werewolf name their daughter something so nice? Probably so that nobody suspects anything. I mean, she doesn’t look like a werewolf. She’s pretty, really friendly, and generous. Nothing you’d think a monster looks like. It’s probably an act. But why would you feel the need to act around your peers? Why be so nice to me? Nobody is ever nice to me. As soon as the two men, because while they might not be eighteen yet, they sure looked like men, came around the corner, I stood there with my mouth open. They'd warned me that werewolf men were attractive. They are all extremely attractive, probably to hide that ugly part of them inside. But these two were beyond attractive. Beautiful? Godlike? I don't know, but I couldn't look away from them. “Twins?” I asked after swallowing the saliva that had gathere
Raiden’s pov“You’re mean,” my best friend Zev said.It was just a joke. The girl needed to get some hair on her chest. Not literally; I mean, some people might be into that sort of thing, but I like my girls as hairless as possible. But she needs to toughen up. I have no clue why anyone that timid and shy is here. Nothing about her screams high-ranking wolf. She looks sick, weak, and maybe kind of pretty with those big blue eyes and pouty lips. If you like that heroine chic look, I guess. This is an academy for the best of the best. A school where you can learn to become even better so you can serve your pack. A place where you can make allies that can benefit you for years to come.My grandpa is actually the one who started this school as a way for our packs to learn to get along. We were so busy fighting stupid pack wars that we failed to realize how much we had in common. But that wasn’t even the primary reason to open the school. Grandpa Vince explained to me a few years ago, bef
Zev’s pov I had no clue why Raiden invited the poor girl. She’s not the type of girl who hangs around him. Not the type of girl he invites back to our room. Not that Raiden’s very picky. As long as they have boobs and a pretty face, he's game. That man is an ass man, though. If the girl has a good butt, he’ll try extra hard for her to like him. Not that he really has to try. Raiden is one of the most well-known Alpha heirs. People want to hang around him all the time, either to try and get a meeting with his dad or to be friends with the next Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack. Alliences with our pack are like covited treasures. I guess I’m lucky. I don’t have to do anything. I’m born to be his best friend. Our mothers were best friends. They became pregnant together and even gave birth to us on the same day. Mom died when I was young, and ever since Luna Grace and Alpha Ethan took me in. They’re like my parents in a way. I’m lucky to have them in my life. Grace, Ethan, Raiden, and
Atalanta’s povI couldn’t believe how much food Raiden bought for me. I knew I couldn’t refuse it, even though I could never finish it. But I hoped that I could take some back with me.It meant I would have food for a few days. But then Raiden ate it all, and I’m embarrassed to say I almost cried when I saw him shove everything inside like it was nothing. I shouldn’t have been surprised; he had been cruel to me from the moment we met.Well, not all the time. It was very confusing. He would call me mouse, "our mouse", which meant who's? Zev’s and his? Or everyone’s?And then he would buy me food, which seemed nice but also felt like a test. But then the cookie... Why did he feed me part of a cookie? And why. And this is the big one. Why did I like it when he called me “a good girl”? Probably because no one has ever called me good. Yeah, that must be it.It took a lot of money to send me and my brother here, which I was reminded of countless times. But since General Sweets, our leader,
Raiden’s povCertain classes were mandatory, but there were some you could choose from. Of course, I go to every Alpha class the academy provides, taking full advantage of my time here.It was also a great way to train with other alpha heirs. After a while, it gets pretty boring sparring with the same people. We with alpha genes are built differently, and we’re a lot stronger than the average wolf.So far, nobody has been able to beat me in a sparring match, but that might change once some of these here get their wolves. When we get our wolf, we grow even stronger. We’ll be able to shift, mindlink our pack, and more. I can’t wait.I wonder what my wolf will be like. In some cases, their personalities match those of their human counterparts, but sometimes they’re polar opposites. Whatever the Moon Goddess deems necessary, I guess. Same goes for our mates. And after the day I had, I need to blow off some steam.I have no clue why it doesn’t bother Zev that I keep annoying our little mou
Atalanta’s pov“I can’t be there tomorrow,” Suzie whispered.“What do you mean?” I replied.“I have practice tomorrow. Very early. I’m sorry.”At the academy, they had special werewolf training, but they also had other teams you could join. One of them was tracks, where you, I guess, run on a track? They had a few other clubs; some weren’t athletic either, but since I wasn’t going to stay long, I had not looked into those. It wouldn’t help with my mission anyway. And I was already behind on homework since none of the werewolf classes were mentioned in the homeschooling I received. And even normal classes like math were hard for me because mom would often make me do chores while she taught Archer. She said I didn’t need to know any of that anyway. So I wouldn’t have the time to join a club, even if I wanted to.But this meant that I would be having breakfast with Raiden and Zev, and whoever else would join us, by myself. Thus far, Suzie has stuck up for me. I wasn’t sure why, but I rea

So, I was thinking if I should write a spinoff about one of the trio's kids. But to do that, I needed to come up with their names, how many kids they have, and a bunch of other stuff.I can't write an ending and then change some of the story for the sequel. So I decided to write two chapters, just to see if it could work. This isn't set in stone, and it kind of depends on your comments if this becomes canon. If it does, I'll use what I've written in these chapters as a basis for the end.So if you would rather not read any potential spoilers, you can skip these chapters. The story would be called "Hunting My Bully" Or something along those lines.Chapter 1: Vermin.Kiana’s pov“There she is….I told you you don't belong here.” Torin growled. His eyes locked with mine and in them was pure hatred. “Vermin, you can run, but I’ll find you…”Honestly, I thought my time at Ardale would be different. My siblings all went here and had a great time. As a matter of fact, two of my brothers still
Raiden’s pov“So how long do you think it will take?” I asked after fucking my mate for the fourth time today. “Not that I’m complaining, but I’m not sure we can keep this up.”Atalanta giggled, “are you tired, Raiden?”“No!” I scoffed.“He is,” Zev said.“No, you are!” I shouted at my friend, who just came out of the shower.“I’m ready to go again and again.”Zev and Atalanta both laughed, “it’s fine to admit you’re tired.”“I’m not fucking tired!” I argued. “I just need, like, a tiny break. Just like a day or so? No, not even a day. Like an afternoon? Or an hour?”Atalanta kissed me, “I actually read it’s better not to do it too much because of something to do with sperm count? Once a day should be enough, but I was enjoying all the attention.”“Greedy little mate, aren’t you?” I replied, kissing her with passion as I slipped my tongue in.“Hey, you asked for a break!” Zev scoffed.“See! You’re worn out too,” I said, as I broke away from my beautiful mate.Zev shrugged, “fine. I am.
Zev’s pov“I’ve missed you!” Suzie said, as she gave Lana a big hug.“And what about me?” Raiden scoffed.“Yeah, not so much.” Suzie replied with a sly smile. “I actually like running this pack without you. It’s much easier.”“Shut up.” Raiden chuckled.“And Zev?” Lana asked as she let go of Suzie. Raiden immediately snatched our mate under his, tucket into his armpit. Greedy guy.‘Well, you did get her to yourself for two whole days…’ Rishi pointed out.“I missed Zev a bit.” Suzie admitted with a wink. “Mostly to help out with Ven. He was really busy all the time. I didn’t realize how much work you two do.”“Really?!” I jokingly scoffed. “We do most of the work!”“Uhm… I’m the damn Alpha. I do most of the work.” Raiden said, making himself even bigger than usual. If he were a gorilla, this would be the moment he’d slap his chest. Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if he still might do it.“Yeah, whatever you think, big guy.” Suzie said, as she rolled her eyes. “But tell me everything;
Raiden’s pov“Can we talk?” Zev asked me, as he stepped into my office.Suzie and our little wolf were out shopping. One of Atalanta’s brothers had a birthday coming up, and my mate was worried her gift wouldn’t be good enough. No matter how much Zev and I tried to reassure her, she was still worried.I didn’t really get it, but, well, I wasn’t raised by psychos.Things were well. Atalanta had asked me and Zev yesterday if we thought her dad would like it if she started calling him Dad instead of Tharon. We both said yes; that man obviously loved her. He's probably going to cry when she does call him dad.And so did the rest of the family.I must admit, Tharon’s mate Mara wasn’t exactly thrilled at first. It was just a shock to her to realize her mate had fathered a child with someone else. But like anyone, once she got to know Atalanta, she loved her.Her brothers were funny, though. Especially the oldest seemed very protective of Atalanta. And her little sisters love Atalanta and fo
Zev’s pov“So, how did it go this time?” I asked Lana. She smiled at me, a real smile with her eyes squinting and her cheeks so adorably round. “Good. Really good.”She has gone to see her father a few times now, and he has introduced her to the rest as well. Every time, either Raiden and I both went with her or one of us did. This time it was Raiden’s turn, while I kept an eye on the pack with Suzie and Stephen.Things were good. Not just between Lana and her father, but inside the pack as well. Even outside of the pack.We had formed a plan with our allies. We were done hiding from the hunters. We weren’t actively going to hunt them, but we were done playing defense. So the moment a hunter was spotted in one of our areas, we made it our mission to find the hunters and take them out. Soon the hunters started realizing their chances of actually beating us in a fair fight weren’t that high.Taking us out one by one was easy, but taking out an entire pack? None so easy at all. With Lana
Atalanta’s povMy head was still spinning from everything that had happened. It had been hard to focus on the meeting when I was replaying everything Alpha Tharon, my biological father, had said.He is either my dad or my stepdad. No, he doesn’t even deserve the title of dad in any way or form. That man who raised me, even though he’s dead now, still has an effect on me.My mother hated me, so did my brother, but there was something different about the way that man treated me. Maybe deep down he knew I wasn’t his.But now I have a chance. And part of me wonders how badly this will go when another thinks it can’t be worse than what that man that held the title dad all these years did.It can only go up, right? With Raiden and Zev by my side to keep me safe, there is only a chance things will be better, not worse.I am not used to feeling hopeful about my family. But for the first time in my life, I see my value and see that I deserve more than what I had.It felt nice to know that even
