A handsome young man with golden locks walked through the streets of the Citadel. His blue eyes took in the destruction his hands had wrought, and some regret seeped into his heart. Now that his heart was open to feeling the seven emotions and desires, the cage that kept his feelings locked away had been tossed aside. He couldn’t help but wonder why he had gone this far in this first place. Many had lost their homes and the only reason why the casualties were so low was because the warriors of the Citadel stacked their lives on the line to protect the ordinary citizens. Even then, several thousands of people had died and many more had been injured in what started out as a childish clash.

“I am such an idiot. Not only did I carelessly use my Soul Power, ignoring the fissures that had appeared after the battle with Ancestor Origin, I also ignored the lives of others.”

The more Mane saw, the more guilt he experienced. He started to wonder if using a Lease to suppress his feelings was the

Within the palace of the Dragon Lord, in a room reserved for the injured and gravely ill, Elder Minas lay on a bed topless. His chest was blue and the his flesh was rotting away slowly. Although he was alive, his body was dying. He who was as hairy as an ox had lost all his chest hair on the parts of his chest that still had flesh, suggesting that those areas would soon begin to decay soon enough. His exposed feet were worse off, showing signs of gangrene and his soles were littered with nodules of varying sizes. There were only two people in the room. The first was the Dragon King Bast. His face was filled with worry as he watched his fallen subordinate moan in pain every few seconds. The second person was someone very close to the Dragon Lord. In fact, she was the person closest to him and the one he loved more than anything else in the world; for she was his wife, the Oracle of the Citadel!“How is he?” Dragon King Bast asked.“He isn’t doing well. The source of his injury has not

A few kilometers away from the Citadel, a chariot pulled by four horses moved towards the now ruined city. The chariot had no driver for there wasn’t a coachman manning the reins of the horses; however, it moved steadily. The horses were well behaved and seemed to be very intelligent. They loved towards the Citadel without being actively controlled, allowing those in the carriage to relax and enjoy the journey. Within the chariot were three familiar figures: Tucker, Lilith, and Alucard. Alucard and Lilith shared one bench while Tucker sat opposite them. As for Dracula, he wasn’t here with them. Mane had given him an additional mission; so once they were done with their tasks, Alucard had left for his mission. It was likely that he wasn’t going to show up for a long time given the nature of his mission.“How long until we get there?” Lilith asked Tucker. The three had grown a tad bit closer during their travels, so she was able to speak to Tucker freely now. Of course, the same couldn’

“Security seems robust,” Alucard observed as he glanced over at the city gate. Although most of the wall that surrounded the formerly grand city had been broken down, there were constructors working hard to mend what was broken. Several guards manned the work sites and many were at least at the Profound Realm! This was an extravagant display considering that most cities in this world had only one or two Profound Realmers; and those cities were regarded as A Class Cities!“It truly is a grand city,” Alucard seemed to understand why their young Master was eager to forge an alliance with them now. If he had known that the person who was supposed to be forging an alliance had not done anything of the sort, he would not have said what he had said. While he knew that the destruction of the city was certainly tied to the young Supreme, he didn’t know that the young Supreme had not accomplished the task for which he had set out to this place for.As the carriage approached the city gate, the

Mane was speaking to the Dragon King within the throne room about the next course of action. He had informed the Dragon King of the reason for his coming, and was surprised when the Dragon King agreed immediately to form an alliance with the very same races that had confined the humans to this small city. Then again, they weren’t really humans, considering the bloodlines that they possessed. That didn’t matter though. He had achieved his purpose. Usually that would have been the end of the matter; however, it wasn’t. And that was because the Citadel knew much more about Pazuzu than Mane thought. It turned out that the monster that the Dragon Lord and Elder Hanuman were raving about was Pazuzu himself. To his surprise, the Citadel had come into contact with Pazuzu before! Mane wanted to know more; hence he stayed in the throne room. Komfo Anokye had been the first to leave after they met the Dragon Lord. He knew he wasn’t welcome here and honestly, he didn’t want their welcome. Once Ma

The man who was the topic of Mane and Dragon King Bast’s conversation was currently in a place engulfed by darkness. On his shoulder was his cat and in his hand was a torch that burned bright. The path before him was uncertain and the distance he had to walk was unknown, but he moved anyway. This place was a tunnel several meters underground, and he had come here because his mission had led to this place.Just like Dragon King Bast had told Mane, Pazuzu was doing the very thing that Bast assumed that he would do if he ever got out: he was seeking for his people. He who had been sealed for many years was aware that the demons that followed him were alive and had been sealed as well. Initially, he didn’t know where they were, so he had roamed towns and cities, looking for clues. This planet was a small one. While it could be considered large by mortal standards, to powerful wielders and gods who possessed insane speed, this planet was small and could be easily explored; however for some

Pazuzu read the text several times to make sure that he was reading the right thing; and once he had confirmed that he was, he couldn’t help but be baffled by what he was seeing.“Now that is just a dumb thing to do. Why would you tell a random person exactly how to break the seal? This seems like the work of that idiot Humbaba” Pazuzu sighed in disappointment as he read the text again. While he was pleased that he wouldn’t have to do much, he was disappointed in the people he once called his family. How could they be so naive? Which idiot would tell someone exactly how to release a horde of demons? Even to Pazuzu, this did not make sense at all. It was almost too good to be true. If there was any doubt that this was not the right place, that doubt was gone now; and it was all thanks to a silly message left behind by the gods.“Sometimes I wonder if we truly were born of the same parent,” the Wind Demon King shook his head in disgust. However, the sooner he spoke those words, the soon

As Pazuzu was greeted by the light outside the tunnel, his mind wondered what he could do next. He did not have any leads to follow, and the one thing that he had found had been taken away from him in the most cruel of jokes.“Is there any who would know what I seek?” he asked himself, trying hard to recall everything he knew thus far. Maybe - just maybe - there was something that he had missed. However, when he tried to recall what was necessary; when he tried to dig up the memories that he was confident he could find something in, his mind drew a blank as though those memories were forcefully suppressed.“This damned seal is not letting off even after my release!” Pazuzu exclaimed in a anger and punched the ground.*Boom*With a deafening groan a huge crater that spanned several hundreds of meters in diameter was formed. The cat that lay atop the Wind Demon King’s shoulders trembled as it was engulfed in its master’s fear.“To think you’d still be impressing on me even when you’re g

The Tower of the Hundred was a tower that was known by every elder of the three Great Races. The tower in itself had no great use other than it’s absolute defense and ability to reappear. What made the tower famous was the one who occupied it; and her name was Ashera.Ashera stood upon the roof of the Tower of the Hundred with her eyes fixed onto a ring of clouds located in the east. The lady who was always so calm and composed had a worried expression on her face, and within those orbs, some fear could be seen.“He has awakened,” she stuttered nervously. While it was questionable that she had been able to infer this from just the clouds, this was not a normal world. This was a world were people controlled elements and possessed the ability to take on powerful beasts. There was nothing ordinary here.“I did not think that it would be so soon,” she mumbled. Per her predictions, the one called Pazuzu should have only awakened after a few more decades at the very least. That would have b

“This…is amazing,” Mane’s eyes widened as he took in the sight before him.The young Supreme was seated on Roxanne. The beautiful dark horse had been granted the power of flight by Crystal who had no trouble casting a flight Lease on the lovely beast. While this was not a permanent condition, it would last hours, and that was thanks to Crystal’s expert command over Chaos. Any other person would have been able to cast this Lease for just under a few minutes. Mane was no exception to this. Even if his power was not sealed, he would not be able to use this Lease to liberally. If this Lease was that practical, it would have been popularized.Next to him, Professors Stern and Stanley, and Dean Desmond had smile plastered on their faces as they watched the Supreme’s gobsmacked reaction to the impressive sight before him. Behind the professors were the students, both old and new. While the older students, Kahn, Frost, Bel, and Maia were floating on their own, the new students had to be envel

His figure flashed as he appeared before Zeus, shielding him from the gaze of his own blood brother. “You have fallen low brother. Now, you require the protection of a titan? Hilarious.” Poseidon mocked as he locked eyes with the delicate looking Atlas. “Of course I have fallen. Not only was I betrayed by my own son, but I also almost died. What did you expect will happen when one who is considered as part of the big three of Olympus approaches a fallen god?” Zeus did not mind his brother’s comments.Instead

Days passed and soon it was time for Mane to leave the planet of the Celestial Emperor. Well, he wasn’t the only one leaving. It was time for the professors to return to their academies with their students – both old and new. In front of the portal that could transport them back to their academies, Mane stood with his friends as they bid each other goodbye. Well, something close to that at least. To give them some privacy, the other professors had gone on ahead with the students, standing a few tens of meters away from the Silver Wolves.“Our great Supreme, our captain and leader, the Unbended is finally leaving us. Whatever are we to do?” Abe waved his hands theatrically as he feigned sadness and pain. His words caused Selina and the twins to snicker. Only Aegeus snorted before shooting Abe a deathly stare. It took a week for Godking to complete its assignment and soon, Mane was back on Planet Celestial. Walking through the streets of the capital, he noticed that he was receiving a lot of stares. While it wasn’t unusual for people to stare at him given his appearance and his ethereal aura, that was only on Zandor. One could argue that it was because he didn’t look like a Celestial, but that was not accurate either. Since Celestials opened their homes to others who craved entry into the God Academies, they had welcomed several different species into their home world. Mane wasn’t not out of place in this new era, meaning there were definitely staring for another reason.“You have become very popular, young Supreme,” Professor Stern who was walking next to Mane chuckled and said.“Hahaha! “You are still eating, even after all that happened?” Hildegarde frowned and said. She was looking at the boy who had forcefully taken her with him when he was returning to his realm with a disapproving gaze. Hildegarde was confused about his current reaction.Seeing him biting onto his tuna sandwich caused her eyebrows to lift in frustration. It was the very same meal that Mane had made and had barely taken a bite of when he was transported to another world. And yes, that was not a dream; it had really happened. She couldn’t understand how the Supreme could be so calm after coming out of a life-or-death situation.“What would you have me do then? Toss it into the trashcan? There were many things that could not be understood in this world, regardless of the amount of logic that one’s mind could process at any given moment, there were things that befuddled even the most brilliant minds. One of such brilliant minds – no, two of these – was staring into the sky full of stars with a torn expression on his face. This man – nay, this god – was the trickster and master shapeshifter, Loki. But he wasn’t alone.“What are you thinking about?”“Many things.”“The great Loki has more than one troubling issue? This is interesting. Odin would have laughed at the absurdity of such a statement; but looking at your expression, it seems to be true.”“It is arrogance to assume that one can solve all one’s problems with one’s mind alone. Why do you think I sought you?”“Isn’t it greater arrogance to presume that two would be enough?”“But its not just two is it? One is the mind of Odin and the other is the mind that Odin sought.”“You say you aren’t arrogant, but you do not
