Hey guys. I apologize sincerely for leading you on and making you think that a new chapter had finally been uploaded. I sincerely apologize for that. Okay, so the reason for my absence in the last couple of days is that I am writing a number of Mid-semester assessments this week and have been spending all my time preparing. I am not done yet however, and respectfully request that you be a little more patient as I strive to finish up with everything else. Hopefully, everything will be over by Wednessday, and I will - by God's grace - be back on track with more chapters. The eyes of the elders were filled with shock and fear. Their ancestors had been attacked? How did Mane battle them without making a single sound! “Impossible!” Magma screamed. For the first time in the several decades he had been the head of the Barbarians, he lost his cool before his people. “What is?” Mane asked nonchalantly, carelessly twisting locks of his long hair that had fallen onto his face. “You fighting the ancestors! A battle of that caliber would have shaken Intersection in its entirety!” Magma voiced out the thoughts of every elder here. They had never seen Magma this disoriented before, but they could understand why. They kept their thoughts to themselves though, saying nothing. “I think you are mistaken here,” Mane yawned lazily and said. He had never felt this much urgency whenever he visited this place, and he usually dawdled; for meeting his father was normally a draining experience.But today was different. He was anxious. The request was so simple that she didn’t understand why they – the Barbarian Ancestors – had been attacked in the first place. After all, what Matriarch Ruth sought was sure to bring a lot of benefits to them all, and finally end the long rivalry between the three Great Races.“Because they wanted to make it clear who was going to be in charge,” Adviser frowned and said. The journey from Intersection to Amalgamation was a long one. It usually took the average man several weeks, or even some months, to travel between the two cities. For Pseudo Phenoms it could take a few days due to their impressive mounts and their great speed in general. But for Phenoms, such travels were achievable in a few hours. Some years ago it would have taken Mane a few weeks to get to Amalgamation from Intersection. Not this time. The young Supreme sped past several plains and forests in just a few blinks, and in less than half an hour, the journey to Amalgamation had been 75% completed. “Will she be okay?” Hildegarde, Mane’s trusty fairy was sitting in Mane’s hair and clutching on for her dear life. It had been a week since return to Amalgamation. During this period he accomplished all he had set out to do. The construction work proceeded swiftly with Mane’s help, and the Amalgamation had been informed of the alliance. Once they heard that it was to deal with Pazuzu and that Mane would lead it, they were filled with very little reluctance; they readily agreed to join. Mane did wonder however, of what would have happened had they known that he was an Ancient?Afterwards Mane spent the rest of the time getting accustomed to the greatest change in his life – Sunflower.
