We picked up Maya early the next day when Marie was out visiting the twins with Hunter. He is still a good baby but I bet he can feel her unease.

"Ready baby?",I ask Maya.

"Yes daddy, she smiles up at me, where is mama?",I hold in my sigh.

"At the hospital visiting the twins baby",I say as she nods sadly.

"She will be home later but she baked cookies and cupcakes for us all",Heath tries to sound cheerful. Maya nods and clutches her teddy to her little chest. She looks sad as we walk out and seeing doc she runs to hug him.

"I'm glad your going home sweetie, he smiles at her, go spend time with your mama and daddies",he pats her back.

"Thank you",she runs back to me and he stands smiling. Maya is a sweet child I hope this stays this way for all of our sakes. We get home and eat our treats but Marie isn't back yet. Hours pass but Marie isn't home and Maya has asked for her over and over. At bedtime she looks upset as we get her in bed but I just smile and say mama will see her l
