Marie pov

I wake to everyone in my hospital room sleeping and look to see Barrett in here as well. Ben is holding my hand and I feel tears fill my eyes I fucked up our family.

"Little love, I look back at him sadly, don't cry baby you did nothing wrong",I sniffle and he moves to my bed and scoots me over before getting in with me.

"I'm sorry",I croak out.

"Little love you did nothing wrong in this well maybe not telling us was wrong but you did nothing wrong to make Maya snap. Years of abuse did that and she Is getting help now",I sigh sadly.

"Heath is gonna hate me Ben, I whimper, that is his daughter and she is so young and scared",he kisses my head.

"Baby you matter and I'm so upset you took the abuse to save face with us. You matter just as much to us my love",she snuggles closer but hisses in pain. A whimper leaves her mouth as she cries in pain. I cradle her as Heath comes in with a cream that helped the incision heal so I'm hoping it helps with this.
