Ava pov

I wasn't nervous meeting his mom in fact Sebastian was the nervous one. I refused to ride bitch so he drove my car to his parents home. Former alpha and luna were waiting eagerly at the door.

"Don't be nervous Sebastian, I grinned, you look tense",he sighed.

"I'm not one bit nervous Ava I just know mom was hoping Lisa would of been my mate",Those words hurt but I blanked my face and put on a fake smile. Walking up the door was thrown open and they both stood there.

"Oh my Bash she is beautiful, his dad smiled big, moon goddess did you good my boy",I chuckled.

"Thank goddess, his mom hugged me I thought we get stuck with Lisa",I looked at Sebastian eyebrows raised.

"She is a lot to take, I smiled, Hi I'm Ava Lily Montgomery ",I held out my hand to shake.

"Oh my sweetie so good to meet you I'm Sarah Howl and this is Lancaster Howl. We are this fools parents ",I chuckled again.

"Jeez thanks mom, Sebastian looked annoyed, I thought you liked Lisa",he just loves taking digs at me. I rolled my eyes.

"No, his mom glared at him , that girl is open twenty-four seven like a seven eleven. I prayed she wouldn't be the one and I prayed harder you'd never impregnate her",his eyes widen.

"Son we are okay with Lisa but she isn't luna material or mother material. That girl is nasty to everyone she meets and we warned you off her",I looked at him a smirk on my face.

"Oh really, Sebastian glares at me, I was told everyone loves her",his parents look at him suspicious.

"Well come in sweetie we got food prepared I hope your not allergic to anything ",his mom took my arm and linked hers with it. She walked us away as Sebastian's dad talked to him.

"So Ava tell me has he been good to you?",I sighed.

"No he wasn't happy to get a mate but I can see the shock it produced. How did you find out so fast it literally just happened last night",she chuckled.

"His beta Ben can't keep secrets that boy is a total sweetheart and I hope he gets a good mate. I can't believe moon goddess brought back mates",yeah me either I think as I look up catching Sebastian staring at me. His dad is talking to him when a knock sounds and I got a gut feeling its Lisa. As his dad opens the door I sigh dramatically as Lisa struts in.

"Hi mom, she tries to hug Sarah but Sebastian's mom moves away, sorry I'm late",Lancaster huffs.

"Lisa we have a private moment going on here so I'm going to suggest you leave",Lancaster says and her eyes widen. She looks at Sebastian's parents in disbelief.

"You don't even know this bitch, she points at me, she could be a spy or here to target the club",my eyes go to Sebastian and I give him a I told you so look.

"Listen Lisa leave now!,his mom growls, we got business to talk about and you aren't family. Now shoo",I giggle. I can't help it as it comes out. Sarah laughs with me as Lisa shrieks and runs out in tears. Sebastian chases after her and I hide the hurt I feel.

"I'm sorry sweetie, Lancaster says walking up to us, she is obessed with him and he was warned about her. The whole family is entitled and we distanced ourselves but he kept her close",I nod as we walk to a table loaded with food.

"This looks and smells amazing, I sit and smile at them, I haven't eaten a home cooked meal in forever ",both frown as we load our plates.

"Your awfully thin sweetie, his mom looks worried, don't you eat?",I nod no.

"I opened a private investigation business here in town been running them for years now. We specialize in cheaters and rare kidnappings but we do pretty much anything. If it can be investigated we investigate",both look amazed.

"Holy shit, his dad claps excited, the Montgomery Private Investigation Company ",I nod yes.

"Been busy opening them up in a few states so I move a lot. I needed a change so we came here I had no idea Sebastian was my mate till I caught him and Lisa in a shocking position. He was surprised too",Sarah grimaced and shook her head sadly.

"We warned him but he is hard headed, his mom eats, she was always up his ass from a young age",I laughed just as Sebastian walked in looking pissed.

"How you two acted was uncalled for she is destroyed",he said calmly as his parents shrugged.

"We warned you off her Sebastian and you know it, his dad barked back looking mad, she always barges in and acts entitled to everything. We won't apologize for being happy you got paired with a good woman",his dad gritted out. Sebastian threw his hands up and as we ate he looked annoyed. I hid the hurt I felt as he kept looking at his cell. I smiled and played the part but once we left I went quiet. I dropped him by his bike and headed to my agency. Sitting at my desk I put my head in my hands rubbing my temples.

"It went that bad?",Nico said making me jerk.

"Was so much fun till the whore bag showed up and tried to wedge in. His parents kicked her out but he chased her",Nico cringed at this.

"I'm sorry Ava , he rubbed my back, you deserve to be a man's whole fucking world",I sighed.

"I know Nico and the sad thing is I'm stumped on what to do about it. This is why I need a full deep dive on the Howl motorcycle club and everyone in it. Especially the whores because I know Lisa will do something ",his eyes go huge.

"Maybe we should leave Ava, he looks worried, especially now since the bond is in the early and easy stage",I sigh.

"I'm staying Nico, he nods, I need to see why moon goddess paired us and see if it works between us",he sighs.

"I knew you say this so I started digging and I found interesting stuff so far",I sit up interested.

"Tell me please",he sighs.

"Lisa has associations with rogues and so does her mom She fucks a few rogues and from what we seen tells them Howl information. She is taking large amounts of money from them and we don't know why. I'm still digging into her. Be careful because she may try to pin it on you",I sighed.

I made myself busy hoping Sebastian would leave me alone but in the morning he was at my apartment knocking. Opening the door I glared.

"What?",he looked me up and down.

"Why the fuck are you opening the door dressed like that?",I sighed.

"I sleep in this, I walked away and he followed, what are you doing here?", I poured coffee and sipped it. I yawned and stretched while he stared at me.

"We are having a party at my club to celebrate I came to invite you",I looked at him.

"Not my scene, I sipped more, have you been tested?",he growls as he moves in my space making me look up at him.

"I'm not infected with anything Ava, he reached out but I moved away, my cock is clean",I just sigh again. I need the peace of mind that he is clear of any sexually transmitted diseases. Only then I could ease up on it.
