Schuyler's P. O. V.

Five years later…

“What should we get for grandpa’s birthday, mommy?” I heard a soft little voice asking from behind me as I tried to finish cooking the pancakes she had been requesting.

With a gentle smile in my face, I turned around to face her. I found her walking towards me, holding a small blanket she loves to keep every morning after she wake up from a good night sleep.

Her sleepy eyes bored onto me and I couldn't help, but notice the similarities of her look to her father. How unfair. I carried her in my womb, but she got her father's eyes instead of mine. Though other than that, most people says that I look exactly like her.

Or it could only be because they have never seen her father at all.

“Mommy?” I blinked for a couple of times before snapping out of my own thoughts. I looked down to my daughter and saw her confused eyes darted at me.

“Y-Yes, baby?” I leaned a bit before spreading my arms and encircling it around her small waist as I carefully carried
