The Strange Men At The Border

The night was fast spent, when the alarm in Dave's rings it was already past 6:am, Dave was so tired that he feels reluctant to get up from bed but he had no choice but to leave the bed early, since he has a very long day around of him, and he also plans to take Zendaya out to a salon nearby for a quick makeover after that he would take her for shopping, he plans to buy her some outfits along with her daily her necessities, While he was still thinking about her routines a call came into his phone, he took it from a table nearby where he had tiredly left it last night, he glared at the screen of the phone and he instantaneously had a look of recognition on his face, without wasting any more time he picked the call and put the phone on a loudspeaker,  "Hello Dino? , He said immediately he picked up the phone after that he laid it back on the table while he lazily stood up from the bed to prepare for the day's activities.

"Hi buddy, there are some problems at the border right now, and we need your help to settle everything otherwise the problems will escalate, he reports breathing hoarsely due to panic.

"I will  be righ there , make sure nothing goes further wrong over there , I will right , he assures looking all over the room for his flip flops , after searching for some seconds he found them at the corner of the room and he quickly ran over and put them on , he walked towards the door in frustration without even bothering to wash his face , immediately he got to the door he realize that Zendaya was with him in the room that was when all the memories of yesterday's events came playing in his head , he held his head in both realization and confusion , realization that he actually remembers how hard it was for him to convince Zendaya to come home with him ,and also the fact that she is scared of being left alone all by herself ,and confusion because he couldn't come up with the best solution on how to handle the issues at the border while he keeps Zendaya safe as well , he keeps Ruminating and pacing around the room in confusion, time was not on his side while the best solution is not Forthcoming , then he remembers something,he dipped his hand into his pocket to bring out his phone, after he dialled some number , after few rings a lady answered the call "hello sir? Good morning sir? Do you need anything? She asked several questions without giving him a chance to speak.

"Come to my room now !!, He ordered coldly without any hint of emotion in his voice, he dropped the call as soon as he finished speaking.

About five minutes later, he heard a song in the hallway after that came outside knock on the main door, it he ran to the door and open upon seeing the face of the person at the door, he walked back inside leaving the door ajar he stood beside the closet looking at the sleeping figure of Zendaya without uttering any word, then he turned back to face the lady standing behind him in awe.

"So it's true, I thought it was just rumored, and the plans of the enemies to drag us down, I didn't know it was true, she said using her hand to cover her mouth in shock.

"What the hell are you talking about? Do you think that is the real reason why I had called you here? He yelled out in a slightly angry tone, he couldn't understand the ready for his sudden mood swings but he knew that whatever Ariya was talking about definitely has something to do with him and Zendaya, he knew how malicious some opposition parties from his pack are, but he feels even more hurt hearing such outrageous outburst and exclamation from one of the people he trusts the most in the world, Ariya is his younger sister and the only sibling he has, both Dave and Ariya has always been each other's support system right from their childhood, Dave protects his sister like she is the only things that matter to him in this world, and Ariya, on the other hand, go against everything to make sure Dave is always happy, but this time Dave didn't tell her about Zendaya and she had to overheard about her presence in the pack from the gossiping members of the pack a d that is the reason why she is flabbergasted upon seeing Zendaya.

"Hey calm d  you don't have to get worked so early in the morning, she said walking towards the dressing mirrors standing at the corner of the room, the table which is used as the mirror stand has all kinds of cosmetic and beauty products ranging from the most expensive and popular brand in the world to locally made especially the Ariya Vida Beauty. (a beauty products brand owned by his sister)stole the limelight with its beautiful design.

"I didn't call you here too............,   Before he could finish his sentence he was interrupted by an incoming call on his phone and he pursued to receive the call then he saw that it was Dino calling him again, "hey Riya I want you to over her for me, please don't leave her alone for any reason, promise me, he said almost choking on his words while dashing out of the room hurriedly.

"Okay, I promise I won't leave her alone, she said convincingly going to take a seat on an empty couch occupying some large space in the room.

Her eyes kept wandering from one corner to the other while tapping on her phone and check up on Zendaya occasionally but each time she sees her sleeping soundly and she would wonder what exactly is wrong with him since it wasn't her problem to worry about she kept her thoughts to herself.

Dave kept running breathlessly to the border, the border is located at the end of the pack and takes about thirty minutes to walk to get to the border, whereas a five-minute drive can get you there in no time but Dave wasn't in his right sense to contemplate on the right thing to do that is why he hastily chose to use his legs instead is beginning to feel that he made the wrong choice by walking to the border,  he kept running and walking at the time while his men run frantically behind him to protect him if the needs arise.his men look like they have been smitten by the demon's they have a deadly and serious Expression on Their faces which kinda shows off their abilities.

After a thirty minutes journey Dave saw Dino from afar standing with some strangest looking men, he searched his heart and memory tirelessly trying to recollect where he has seen them before but he couldn't come up with a tangible piece of information on where he must see them so he gave up trying and hasten his steps, immediately he got a little closer Dino ran up to him with full speed and trying explaining things to him but Dave didn't have the time for side talks so he walked up to them directly with a questioning expression on his face after what Dino has told him about the strange men.

" And you are? He asked tucking his hands into his pant pockets wearing a cold and ruthless Expression on his face, although Dave is one of the most powerful but generous Alphas in the city, he doesn't plan hide and seek games with traitors and anyone who tries to jeopardize the security of his pack, he has killed so many dangerous forces who rose and formed an alliance to bring down his pack, they were only able totally against them right under their noses because his father made the mistake of welcoming an evil force Disguised to be an angel into his pack, which led to a war breaking out in the pack luckily Dave came on time to save everyone from being devoured by the sondrimo magic (very powerful magic created by an evil witch), which the enemies had intended to used as a major weapon to subdue them, ever since that incident and his father passing Dave has become so cautious of strangers.

" I am Alpha Desaq from Montana Pack, he said stretching forth his hand for a handshake, Dave hesitated a little before finally taking it and shake hands, "You must have heard about me or may maybe not, anyways never mind I will tell you about myself, he said proudly treating backward to balance his feet on the slippery slope to avoid falling off due to how muddy and slippery the entire place has become the rain must cause a lot of damages at the border. "As I said I am the Alpha of Montano pack, I told your men right here, he pointed his index finger at Dino grinning sheepishly, that I came looking for you and my sister, but they wouldn't believe that my sister is here talk more of letting me in to meet you all anyways can I go inside now? He questions making to walk past them without waiting for further instructions from Dave " and what the hell do you think you are doing? Dave roar angrily making him stop in his tracks, this is my Pack I get to tell you how and when to go anywhere around here, he said with a gritted teeth and his face fuming with displeasure.

"You said your sister is in this pack, right? Who is your sister? tell me now? He screams out excitedly causing everyone to refrain from talking.

"Oops my bads, Alpha Desaq said holding his head in realization, I'm so sorry Alpha Dave I thought my sister must have told you everything about me but I guess she didn't te you anything that could be the only explanation for your rude behavior to your future brother in law, he smirked before continuing with his narrations, "I am here to see my sister Melina, and also to discuss your wedding arrangements, those are the reasons why my parents sent me here to oversee to everything since they could come to inspect it by themselves, and since Melina is the only sister I have, then I must make sure that nothing goes wrong with her while she stays under your roof, in other words, I'm here to make sure she is safe, he explained audaciously.

"And you think that gives you the right to disturb the peaceful air around my pack? Dave queries looking very calm, and his harsh expression became normal and his hoarse voice suddenly becomes sweet like that of an angel, everyone has a look of confusion on their face except Dino who understood exactly what is going on with them After Dave said that he walked forward to give Desaq a friendly hug which Alpha Desaq also returned with a grin on his face, the one which shows how pretentiously he is.

"Migos! escort him to the Royal Chambers to meet Melina, and make sure he doesn't face any inconveniences, Dave ordered authoritatively staring directly into the eyes of his man.

"Go with him, he will take you to where your sister is, but I'm sorry you but can't take your weapons along with you, immediately he said that a guard walked up to Alpha Desaq and scrutinized him from head to toe then made to take his weapons but he and his men resisted for a second but he finally gave them up after his eyes came across the deadly and cold expression on Dave's face, "it's for the safety of my pack that's why I prevent strangers from bringing their weapons into my territory, he explained walking up Alpha Desaq, after that he sent them away along with him, Dave was left with Dino.

"Dave, what is wrong with you? Why are you allowing that b*tch to dominate your territory? Hmph! Answer me! She came here with all her luggage without your permission and now she asked her brother to come without consulting you first, I'm sure very soon every member of Her Pack will be coming over by then it will impossible to stop them since they are already laying a string foundation right Under your nose, Dino said excitedly looking at the leaving figure of Alpha Desaq and the guards.

"You know how complicated the situation is for me right? Come on this is not the time to discuss all of this, I have to attend to something, he said while looking at his wristwatch to ascertain the time after that he patted Dino on the back to calm him down while he made to walk away.

"Oh yeah, I remember you've got a girl to attend to he smirked which made Dave go wild with blush and he kicked his butt before hastening his steps.
