Maybe You Are Behind Everything!!

After Melina left Zendaya to wander around the Mansion in her underwear , Zendaya began walking aimlessly scouting for Dave ,she was actually told by Melina to go in search of Dave and that he was searching for her downstairs ,without waiting for any further clarification, Zendaya took to her heels and began scouting for Dave in every nook and cranny of the house , when the maids saw her descending figure they all ran away in terror , mistaking her for a demon or something supernatural , who came with the Intention of hurting them or even worse kill them , they kept running skelter- skelter round the entire house and they kept bumping into each other during the course of their attempts to escape ,Zendaya did not really understand what is going on and she was actually happy with the development at least that would prevent them from bullying her while Dave was away , she kept running around looking hysterically for Dave and she didn't pay attention to where she was ,suddenly she bumped into someone ,she hits her face ferociously against the person's muscular chest and she felt a sharp pain emanate from the affected place , she dilly-dallied walking backwards with her eyes closed while rubbing her nose ,and her hands clung into her face while she moved haggardly until she was able to balance her movements then she came to a stop.

The Cacophonous activities going on downstairs and the chattering voices of the maids attracted the attention Of Queen Naya and she came running to check the reason behind the sudden unrest in the Mansion, upon beholding the ugly sight in front of her, she covered her mouth with both her palms, her face expressing a flabbergasted look which made it seemed like she had seen a ghost, she couldn't speak for the next couple of minutes, all she did was just stare at the furious looking man in front of her and the messy Zendaya standing shamelessly besides the man, The man's aura speaks terror, due to how graceful his presence is, the look on the man's face could easily roast someone to death.

"Who the hell is this clumsy b*tch Mr. Vertigo roar angrily upon seeing how dirty his outfits have become from the collision due to the ugly makeup on zendaya's face has smeared across his Valentino suit, the Valentino collection of suits is the most expensive in the world due to how rare it is to acquire a Pierce of it, According to reports they are only hundred lives of this design in the world, and not just anybody can get a hold of it. to acquire a Pierce of Valentino collection of suits you must be well connected and now Zendaya has just gone ahead to ruin Mr. Vertigo's collection, Mr. Vertigo was so angry that the vein on his forehead popped out involuntarily, he stated at Zendaya angrily and he raised his hands to slap her across the face, but he was stopped by Dave which caused everyone to froze in shock, they knew that Dave stopping Mr. Vertigo from punishing Zendaya would be a grave mistake on his part and Mr. Vertigo would never take such insult easily, he would do anything to relate and avenge his humiliation.

Dave stood as a demarcation between Zendaya and Mr. Vertigo, Zendaya clung to him as if her life depended on it while she hides behind him in fear, the look of terror and anger on Mr. Vertigo's face looks extremely scary, which why Zendaya fears him. Zendaya was shivering while hiding behind Dave to avoid Punishment from Mr. Vertigo, whose face looks flushed from the anger he fears and the embarrassment of being a stained collection of Valentini suit back, he must have never felt this humiliated in his entire life that's why he feels so hurt that someone would choose a low life, Zendaya, over him. Mr. Vertigo dagger stares at Dave like he wanted to rip him apart that very moment, everyone could see how bruised his ego was, he wanted to say something but his voice betrayed him, stare at him, Dave turns his face towards the maid " get some clothes " he shrieked out hoarsely which made the maid trembles with fear, this is the first time she has seen him so angry, he was always so gentle and sweet towards everyone but today he looks like a demon who is ready to devour his enemies, the maid returns in a jiffy and use the clothes to wrap around Zendaya who looks very scared about the situation at hand.

"Mr. Vertigo, come, let's go to my study, Dave said showing them the way, we would talk about everything over there, he continues when he realizes that Vertigo wasn't making a move to walk with him to the study and he still had a ferocious look on his face.

" I'm sorry Alpha Dave but I don't think I can continue with this partnership, Mr. Verigo utters icy, after everything that happens here today I don't think this partnership will work out, immediately he finished talking he left with large strides without giving Dave a chance to refute. Dave was starting densely at the bare floor but when he realizes what Mr. Vertigo meant, he ran after him vigorously forgetting all his etiquette, he felt that his entire Pack will be in chaos if he fails to arrange the supply of vita no in the next two months, moreover, the next full moon night is just three months away, not only that if the news reaches the other suppliers that Mr vertigo had refused to have anything to do with him then they will also not want to have anything to do with him and this will hurt the reputation of his pack as well as security and needs of his people too if that happens it will be deadly. Dave ran  after him breathlessly, his thoughts were going in different directions, while he was chasing after him, he couldn't watch his entire pack get humiliated like that, he kept running until he caught up with them while they were about to enter the car, 

"Mr. Vertigo, please wait let's talk about this please, he pleads immediately he caught up with them, please give me a chance to explain everything to you.....

" explain?? What else do you want to explain to me, Alpha Dave? He asks removing his shade to get a proper view of Dave, while Dave stares at him pleadingly, you have embarrassed me enough for today, I don't think I have enough energy to accommodate any more humiliation, Mr. Vertigo says sarcastically scrutinizing Dave arrogantly with a sinister smile on his lips.

"Mr. Vertigo, it's not what you think, it's just a little misunderstanding and it has been fixed now, please come with me, he said looking back.

" I'm sorry I Alpha, but  I can't go back inside with you again, he replied arrogantly, I will tell my secretary to set up a meeting with you at the Vertigo Corporation, come over maybe then I might change the decision regarding this, with that he entered his car and the guard slammed the door, Dave stood watching them intensely until they vanished into thin air, after that he walked hastily towards the direction of the Packhouse, his breathing was hoarse and uneven, his movement was fast and fierce, the color of his eyes have suddenly changed, he looks dangerous at this very moment and with the way things are he won't mind devouring anyone who tries to come close to him.  his movement was swift all the servants who saw him coming fave way to let him through since they know the impending danger of making the Alpha angry.

"Who the hell did this to her? Dave growls out loud as soon as he set his eyes on Zendaya, who was sitting quietly at the corner looking razz, his eyes scan the faces of all the people present in the hall to ascertain the truth but no one was willing to come forth or admit anything, he became even angrier when the images of those filthy guards that accompany Mr. Vertigo lusting after Zendaya flashed into his memory, he couldn't help but languish in utter pain and dismay, "how could they even think of lusting after my woman? He thought to himself absentmindedly fisting his wrists unknowingly. 

" I will ask again, he snarls sending shivers down their spines and no one dares to say anything even if they had something to say, "who the f*CK bullied Zendaya in my absence, who had the guts to go into my room and hurt her, he asks again this time a little more harsh than before. while talking his gaze met with Ariya, who stood at a corner quietly and almost shivering due to the fear she has embedded within her, immediately their eyes met she took hers away but it was already too late since Dave was already walking towards her provocatively, she kept holding her breath and looking away from his direction and praying hopefully in her mind for a miracle.

" Ariya? What do you have to say about this? He asks agitated by with his eyes tallying her all over, I asked you to stay with her then what happened, he screams out again, Dave gazes at her intensely without moving an inch away for her to catch her breath, she became uneasy due to the sinister and curious gaze everyone was throwing at her.

"It isn't my fault so get stroppy with me, I didn't do anything to her, why are you all captivating me already, she yells with her eyes turning red and puffy due to the heart in her heart.

" Then whose fault is it? Tell me I want to know, I say tell me...

"I was with her all this time, but mom asked me to help her with something at the garden, so I asked a maid to stay with her while I attend to whatever mom wants me to do for her, but when I got to the garden I couldn't find mom there so I decided to go back to the room and stay with her but when I got here I met this commotion, she explained frantically tugging her hair behind her ears. The anger Dave's eyes have slowly lessened after listening to Ariya's explanation but his anger was rekindled when he realized that someone has played a fast one on Ariya, he didn't want to believe that his mom was the mastermind behind everything, his mom could be an angry b*tch most times but she wouldn't as far as humiliating a woman to prove her point, and with the thought in mind he turned back swiftly walking towards his mom, who stood some distance away from Ariya, Melina was standing close to Naya, she has a smug expression on her face while watching the scene before her, she is happy about how everything turned out on one will point an accusing finger at her and she will accomplish her mission of ousting Zendaya.

" Maybe you are responsible for this, she heard Dave's voice right inside her ears while she was still lost in thought, the sound of his voice brought her back to reality and she snapped out of her thoughts looking confused before she could open her mouth to say Naya intervened.

"What are you doing Dave? Do you realize the gravity of what you are saying? She shouts moving to stand as a demarcation between them but Dave's grip on Melina was too tight so she couldn't break it," she is your fiancee and you are accusing her of such a heinous crime? What has gotten into you, Dave? She questions starting into his dark eyes.

"Stay out of this, mother, this is between Melina and me, you don't have to interfere with this, I need you to stay away from this, he threatens softly.

" haha, Melina chuckles pretentiously, I can't believe this, are you accusing me of being behind her sufferings? She asked gritting her teeth and pointing occasionally at Zendaya. "Why would you even think that I will waste my precious time on planning pernicious things against her? I don't have anything against her, I can't even think of hurting an innocent little thing like her, I mean she doesn't realize what is going on, and nor does she know what has happened to her, and to top it all she can't point out who exactly did this to her in the first place, you can't just go around accusing everyone in the pack of hurting her all the time, do you understand? She warns ferociously, today you are accusing me of plotting against her maybe tomorrow you will go into the house of everyone in this pack to accuse them of hurting her she can't decipher who exactly is behind these vile actions, she began crying bitterly after she said this, " I know you don't want to have anything to do with me nor do you want to see my face, but please do not humiliate me this way in front of everyone including right in front my brother.

"She is your friend,  can understand that but you also need to understand that I'm your fiancee, and you must respect me, but instead of that you are doing the opposite of it, you have made me lose face in front of everyone here today, she cries painfully, she stood up and ran away from the hall in a swift movement running to her room upstairs.

" I can't believe you are doing all of this because of that lunatic girl, you are accusing everyone of hatching maleficence against that tramp, I'm ashamed of your method of judgment, she said looking painfully at him, after that she went chasing after Melina.

After Naya and Melina had left the hall, everywhere became quiet just like a graveyard, no one moved or say anything they just keep staring at Dave then back to Zendaya, who was too scared to face anyone.

"What are you all looking at? get back to your duty posts, he sneered at them, and you tell David to get the car ready, he said pointing to a guard.

" Ariya would you like to come with us? He asks scrutinizing his sister, who had gone silent.

"Absolutely, but where to? She asks excitedly with her eyes beaming with joy, she acts like a child sometimes which makes her looks very cute.

" Ashluxury Mall, he replied sarcastically scooping Zendaya into his strong arms, Zendaya was frightened a little because of how swift his movement was, she struggles to free herself from his grip but couldn't due to how strong Dave is,  then she released herself when she realizes that her protest will not yearn any good result after all she can't win against the best fighter in Great Vertex Pack Alpha Dave.
