Melina's Dirty Tricks

Back at the packhouse 

Immediately Dave stepped foot out of the house , Melina who had been eavesdropping on the conversation between Dave and Ariya connived with a maid to send Ariya out of the room so she could carry out her evil plans ,Melina know the consequences of being caught trying to harm a harmless creature so inorder to avoid being tagged the culprit she decided to use a bait to save herself from the wrath of Dave's anger if any need arises , she kept thinking on what to do and who will help her to carry out her evil assignment,while she was still deep in thought a maid came walking by ,as soon as she got a glimpse of the maid she beckons on her to come up to her ,without any form of hesitation the maid went to her bowing her head in regards to her status as the future Luna of their pack ,After scrutinizing for few minutes Melina cleared her throat and ordered her "go and inform Ariya that her mother is requesting for her presence right now, she orders rolling her eyes provocatively at the maid ,who had actually failed to run the errand immediately.

"But ma'am, I just saw the queen and she didn't ask me about the princess, how come you want me to inform her about her mother's.........

"Are you trying to say I'm lying? Melina shrieks pretentiously interrupting the maid from completing her statement. She looks dead serious bantering the maid.

"No ma'am, that's not what I meant actually, I was just trying to make you understand that .....

"Understand what? Will you make me understand? Hmph? Tell me! How dare you say that to me! How about I make you understand by making your worthless life miserable then? , I think I  should go and inform the queen about your primitive and snippy behavior towards me and let's see what happens with you, she threatens enthusiastically moving towards the exits but the maid ran after her and tries to stop her from telling on her to the qqueueeady knows what will happen to her if reports reach the queen about anyone misbehaving with Melina. The repercussions of misbehaving with Melina are greater than hurting the Alpha himself, and the maid wasn't ready to face the wrath of Naya.

"I'm so sorry Ma'am Melina, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings nor did I intend to make you feel bad, please don't tell the queen anything please, please forgive me this time, I promise it won't happen again, she pleads with her eyes turning red from unshed tears, I will go and call her now, she ran off involuntarily after she said Melina calls out to her grinning evilly.

"Make sure you tell her to come right now, otherwise I don't know what will become of you, she smirks and turned her back towards the entrance to the hallway, she kept grinning from ear to ear and snorts occasionally while her eyes colors change to yellow.

The maid ran through the hallway breathlessly, she was so threaten by what Melina said that she decided to do everything she could to avert Melina's anger ,she has come to realize how dangerous and evil Melina is , but other people fails to see her evil intentions and that why they keep praising her for every little thing she does right , she entered the elevator and pressed the button taking her to Dave's room ,few minutes later she arrived at the hallway which leads to the Alpha's room and she hesitated a little before banging on the door to grab Ariya's attention, Ariya was busy scrolling through her social media pages that she didn't hear her knocking the first time ,when the second knock came in she jerked back to reality and stood up from the couch excitedly thinking that it's was Dave coming ,she was already Ruminating on how she was going to jet out to Elite City for a business trip, not necessarily trip but that's what she plans to use as her excuse to step out of the pack for a while but  her hopes were shattered when she opened the door and saw a maid instead of her brother , she frowned absentmindedly walking back to the couch , she had thought that the maid came to clean up the room and probably give  Zendaya a clean up but she was wrong ,"Ariya , your mother is asking you to join her at the Chadni hall , she reports bowing her head to avoid an eye contact with Ariya ,and she said she wants you right there in few minutes, she further report.

"Go and tell mother that I can't come right now, I'm busy with the task Dave asked me to take care of, moreover whatever she has to say Can Wait for a little while, come on and go and tell her that I will come later, she snapped making her way to sit on the couch again but the maid insisted that it was urgent, after contemplating for a while he decided to leave Zendaya in the care of the maid while she attends to whatever her mother wants her to do after that she would return to the room even before her brother comes back,  with that Thought in min, she turns to the maid and instructed "watch over her and make sure you do not leave her alone even for a second, do you get it? Hmph!! She asks sloe-eyed the maid while bending to get a grip over her emotions she wanted to instill a little kind of fear in the heart of the maid so that she won't dare disobey her other, since she couldn't come up with a tantalizing solution she has to make do with the one available to her, after making sure everything is in order Ariya walked sluggishly out the room and slammed the door behind before accelerating in full speed, to make sure she beats the time-bound she had created in her mind. Few minutes after Ariya left the room the maid walked out of the room leaving Zendaya alone all by herself ,the maid looked like a moving dead body ,her eyes were almost bugging out of their sockets ,her movement was slow and staggering , everything about her seemed very odd and strange ,she was probably hypnotized by evil energy but nobody can actually say exactly what is wrong with her ,she moved haggardly our of the space ,as soon as the maid disappeared into thin air Melina appeared from the other end of the hallway chuckling proudly ,with satisfaction written all over her face she made her way to the door without waiting for anyone to open she used her powers to slam the door open noisely ,then she made her way into the room as soon as she enters the room she found Zendaya sitting on the bed wide awake looking at the strange where she found herself,she looked totally lost just like a lost child ,she began rubbing her eyes bitterly ready to throw tantrums since she couldn't see Dave anywhere she became a little hypertensive and she was ready to offload her childishness at any given moment ,Melina sat close to the bed opposite her and began acting in a sagacious matter towards the heavily saddened Zendaya ,Zendaya's eyes have become a little puffy from her silent sobbings.

"Hey, don't cry, you Know pretty ladies don't cry no matter what happens, if you cry then you are not a pretty lady, do you hear that? She joked around trying to persuade her from alerting others so that she won't have so much troubleerrying wither in her hertensionss. Zendaya did not pay heed to her sarcastic pampering so she continues rubbing her eyes looking around for Dave, ever since the incident Zendaya doesn't speak too much, she sporadically speaks and when she does it's either she is talking to the person she trusts or she is complaining about the grievances she is facing.

"You drive me nuts, Melina she clenched her fists and screams out in frustration throwing the hand pillow around, then she held head her with both hands to show how frustrated she is with Zendaya's ssnivelingZendaya kept sniffing with grievances while Melina watched her like a dangerous virus.

"It hasn't been a day that she came here but she is already taking over my postions and everything I have a right to , if I don't find a way to stop her very soon, then I might end up becoming her maid instead ,she thinks to herself while fiddling with her fingers ,  if she is ambiguous then I will have to explain things to her in the way she would understand, I don't care I have to apply ambiguity as one of my weapons against you ,atleast that way I won't have to keep repeating myself since you will understand everything on your own one way or the other , she chuckles evily and moved to the dressing mirror where all the daily necessacities are kept , she scan them thoughtly then her eyes fell on the particular products she is looking for, she took it up and smile satisfactorily she walk close to Zendaya and flashed the object across her face , immediately she saw her reflection she began smiling sheepishly and attempts to take it from Melina , but she kept playing around with her until she came to a conclusion on what to do.

"You want this right? She asks flinging the object from one hand to the other trying to prevent Zendaya from taking it, Zendaya nods her head when Melina asked her if she wanted the object, "then if you want it, you will allow me to make you look beautiful, will you? She stares into her eyes waiting for her response, Zendaya thought for a while she didn't want to give in to her condition but she wanted to own the object so she gave Melina the consent to go on ahead and dressed her up, immediately she agreed and freed herself from any form of refrains Melina held her by the hands and took her to the bathroom.

Dave and Dino were walking towards the Mansion when a guard came up to inform them about the arrival of Mr Vertigo Mr Vertigo is one of the richest and influential business man in the entire city ,he also is the major supplier of vitano (vitano is the food which the werewolves consumes during the full moon night ,and since the full moon is about few months away Dave wanted to strike a deal with Me Vertigo about it) from the looks on Dave's face he is obviously really excited to have Mr Vertigo at the pack house and the happiness he feels radiates all over him , According Dave's calculation if he succeeds in striking a deal with Mr Vertigo then the reputation of his pack will elevated while he will also get a chance to store enough vitano for the full moon night since the demand for the products will be very high as soon as the month ends ,and not only that rumours has it that Dave intends to partner with Vertigo Corporation and if that happens, they will have so many things to celebrate since the news about the partnership will strengthen the security of his pack , he thinks to himself absentmindedly without realizing that he is taking so much time to respond to the message relay to him.

"Alpha, Mr. vertigo is waiting! What must I do? The guards ask jerking Dave back to reality and he touched his temple in realization, “come on let's go, Dave urges taking the lead while Dino and the guard follow suit n, clumping their feet in rhythmic rhythm they walk could easily made them a cynosure of all eyes, but that wasn't the perfect time to think about such, moreover, they have a more important task to complete more than to think about what other people take them for.

Melina took Zendaya to the bathroom and drenched her with water after she led her back to the bedroom, where she applied various make up products on her face , immediately she finished making her up and Zendaya turn around to look at the mirror ,her face was totally flustered , the heavy make-up work on on her face made Zendaya look more like a monster than a human she was looking totally lost in the midst of the product , and anyone who sees her in this state would be totally terrified due to how horrible the makeup on her face is , upon seeing the terrible state that Zendaya was in ,Melina clapped her hands and smile with Victory , she's so happy that her plans were already in motion , she couldn't wait to execute them after all no one double crossed her and get away with it ,after that she went ahead to clutter the room with different objects that she could find ,,she hurried back to the bathroom to fetch a bucket of water and throw it on the floor , she took out all the clothes from the wardrobe and clean them on the floor making a total mess of the room which looks more  like a zoo instead of a room ,after making sure that everything is a total mess according to  her plans she turned back to Zendaya and took out one of the lingerie that Dave had ordered for Zendaya ,she  worn it over her head ,after that she applied no makeup on her face which make her look totally terrifying.

"I will make sure that Dave regrets his decision of ever bringing a plain jane like you to compete with me, I will make your life a living hell that you will regret ever attempting to overshadow my importance in this park, she sneered fiddling with her fingers while gazing dangerously at Zendaya.

"You look very pretty, Melina compliments Zendaya why are applying more foundation on her face, and Zendaya smiled back at her sheepishly, this singular act of hers made Melina's heart cluster with pain, and her eyes depict her hidden hatred towards Zendaya.

While they were still busy with the whole thing, they heard a loud ovation downstairs and Melina realizes that the important person Dave has been waiting for is there, with a dangerous and sinister smile on her face she took Zendaya by the hand and led her towards the hallway that leads to the general sitting-room, immediately they got close to the sitting room she looked around suspiciously when she made sure that no one saw her, she left Zendaya on her own and ran off to hide behind the curtains, so no one would suspect her of anything, she smile disdainfully from her hiding place upon seeing Dave and Mr. Vertigo approaching, "this is going to be so much fun, she muttered.
