So they came up with the idea of getting him a bride, and the first person that came into the picture was Melina, looking back Dave regrets not meeting Zenny first since she is the only one who can trigger all such emotions out of him, without her doing anything, it just happens effortlessly. Dave was never bothered by carnal desires, and he tries as much as possible to stay away from all forms of such desires that might land him in a complicated situation, but now the power to decide about whether he should wait for his mate or go ahead with the arranged marriage isn't only his yo make, since they are so many lives involved, so he allows the cabinet to influence his decision, the responsibility of finding the bride was left to his mother, and she turned up with Melina, whom she deemed capable of being good Luna as well as a good human being, because of how well behaved and thoughtful she thought Melina is, and also she is the daughter of a famous Alpha king from an influential pack, although when the oppositions heard about this alliance, they retreated, they didn't realize that there was more to this.

Dave isn't denying the fact that Melina is a good influence for his pack, but he can't bring himself to like her, he thinks there is something off about her which nobody else was seeing, he had seen her display different forms of flagitious acts, but most times he felt that they were all illusions, or maybe someone was working some kind of magic on him, but his doubts were confirmed when he had seen her talking to space, although he couldn't get the reason behind that action, he just knew that something was not right about her.

“Sir?  the nanny called out to him “ sir, will you give us some time alone, please? She asks but didn't receive any response “sir? She calls out a little louder and he jerks out of his daze with a hump? 

“I said, can you please give us a little privacy, I need to change her outfits, she explained with her head now.

“I will be in the bathroom, he said moving towards the entry, “if you need anything, don't hesitate to call me, he assures hastening his steps into the bathroom, he was blushing after the nanny caught him starting at Zenny.

He ran into the washroom and slammed the door behind him, he turns on the shower and stood under it allowing the cold  water to stride down his body, he held his head with confusion, he couldn't understand why he feels that he has a deeper connection to Zenny other than the love he has for her, he thinks that the spark effect that occurs whenever he tries to hold Zenny's hands is as a result of the spark effect that occurs whenever they try to hold hands, but gradually it's subsiding, Dave brushed off the thought of Melina and focused his attention  on himself and Zenny, after thinking for a while, he removed his hands from the head, he directed them towards the west, where the great vertex  forest is located, he closed his eyes and tried forcing his powers out of their shells, but it wasn't working, he tried a few times more and still the same negative result, he got trustrated and threw a heavy punch at the wall, his fists were injured and blood sstream out of them, after clasping his breathe roughly for minutes , they got healed instantaneously.

Alpha Desaq ran after the furious looking Melina, her face was flustered with anger, she felt that all the people who are meant to support her, are suddenly becoming zenny's puppets, she ran into her room and was about to slam the door behind her, but was held back by an unknown figure, she struggles to close it, but the other party was stronger than her, so she stopped struggling, then Desaq slowly revealed his face with an ingenuous smile, Melina felt sick in her stomach upon seeing the dirty smirk on his face, left the door and found her way towards the closet, just as she was about taking a step, Alpha Desaq her firmly against the wall, with her hands in the air, which made her look like she was surrendering to his authority, but she kept struggling slightly, trying to prove how powerful she is, but her powers did not work in this situation.

 Desaq began trailing his fingers down her neckline seductively, causing Melina to moan out a shriek, she felt a cold shiver run down her throat, and several came crashing out, she regains her composure within seconds, she held his hand tightly to pull them away from her bare skin, but he won't allow her. 

Instead, he lifted her leg into the air, holding it against his shoulder, exposing her underwear to the air.

“what are you doing? Domingo? She asks with a shaky voice.

“I'm trying to check how my delicate sister tastes, he responds scornfully, and he let out a small chuckle, then he bites the nape of her ear, causing her desires to heightened.

“stop Domingo, she yells with her all her might.

He stretches forth his hand towards the door and slammed it locked, the door closes on it and no one would be able to open it unless he opened it again. Therein she moved towards the edge of the room, “ Sir, I will take your leave, now, she said bowing her head infrequently, she left, closing the door behind her.

Dave went over to Zenny's side of the bed, he bent over with his hands making a fence around her, he placed a light kiss on her forehead.

MELINA'S ROOM 

The light was dim, everywhere has become as quiet as a graveyard, the passionate atmosphere has suddenly come to an end, with both parties wheezing, they were both gasping for air, Melina lay on the bed with a duvet draped around her, her hair was messy and, makeup smudged all over her face, which is evidence of the passionate make out, that took place, her eyes were staring at the space when the memory of what transpired earlier flashed into her mind, she became red with extreme anger, she felt greatly hurt, she stood up from the bed exasperatedly, making her way out, but Domingo was high at alert, he drew her back to the bed.

“ what are you doing? Let me go !!! She struggles, holding on tightly to the duvet, preventing it from falling off.

“what are you trying to hide from me, little sis, we just finished making out, and you are hiding from me? He said with a smirk on his face, then he licked his lips seductively, causing Melina to stop struggling, she looked at him disdainfully, she felt disgusted by his actions and the pangs of pain that surround her heart made her feel even more terrible about, everything had happened, she couldn't wrap her mind on why Domingo would be charmed by Zendaya so easily, they have been a partner in crimes for years, and done everything together, she was lost in thought, Domingo took advantage of her absentmindedness, and remove the duvet from her unclad, with one pull, the duvet fell off, he took her up from the floor, and they both landed on the bed.

“ hey, let me go, I said let me go, she said hitting his back, with her fists.

“ Why are you acting so spooky? What is your problem? he questions, with his hand camping her.

“ quite acting like, you don't know why I'm mad, she said with her eyes full of jealousy, after saying that she looked away from his piercing gaze.

“hey, look at me, look at me, he urges turning her face towards him, after struggling for a while, she relinquished to his will.

“ do you think, that lunatic girl will turn my mind against you? do you know how stupid that sounds?” he asked staring directly into her eyes, “ you are the one, I love and I will stand by you, he said plastering a light kiss on her lips, and she smiled joyfully.

“ you are so sneaky ”, she said nudging his head, you managed to fool everyone that you are my brother, she chuckles 

“ But I'm your brother, right? He replied sarcastically, laughing historically, “ well,  I didn't do it alone, the Supreme one helped me out a little, and my powers did the rest of the job, but need to start with the mission as soon as possible, otherwise, when the Full Moon night comes, my powers won't be able to hold it down, moreover, I will be leaving this place, on the day of the Haze, hey, do not look at me like that, I need to do it for us, otherwise, they will find out, our little secret, he said scooping her into his arms.

“ But I don't think, I will be able to get through the Haze without you, by my side, she said with a pouty look on her face.

“ how about, we start the haze season now? he flashed her a dirty smirk, immediately he swerves her over, and slide in, without waiting for her to reply.

Mr. Vertigo crouched in his study with a file in his hand, he looked relaxed, with a smile on his face, just thereon, Josh Hamilton walked into the study, a remorseful look on his face, as soon as Mr vertigo saw him, he fretted.

“ right now? he asked with a bewildered expression 

“of course, move it ” he orders nonchalantly.

Josh Hamilton left with large strides, leaving Mr. Vertigo to his dreamy moments, “ he is sick, he murmurs, walking out of the room.
