Aurora

I stood there speechless as I watched rogues fight my father. Growls and screams erupted and I looked to my left, my mother and a few warriors were fighting many rogues that were relentlessly attacking. I knew they had no chance to win no matter how strong they were. 

" Aurora, Run!" My mother screamed. I disobeyed her, I was glued and my eyes watched the horror before my sight. My body was shaking. 

Another growl erupted in the room, a powerful one. My father tore in one of the rogue's flesh and it whimpered but he was distracted and five pounced on him. I couldn't turn away, something hot ran down my face, and before I could ponder what, someone was carrying me out of the room, his body was cold and his skin was white. I didn't react. 

I felt it when my mother died and I let out a bloody scream that made everything around me vibrate. The walls were violently shaking at my power. 

" Aurora, I need you to calm down," The cold hands were on my neck, the building around us almost crushing down until a small hand clasped around me. I quietened immediately and with teary eyes, I looked down at my little brother, Jeremy. 

I came back to my senses, and as I crouch down in front of him, he was covered in blood but it was his. I wiped my tears and pulled him close to me. 

I looked back at my bloody house as the fight had died down now, and promised myself to get revenge on whoever sent those rogues to kill my parents and our people, they will all pay. 

 " Princess, I'm sorry for your loss," Damon says, he is my father's vampire friend. 

My father was the alpha of the Silver blue moon pack and was feared by all, he had a lot of enemies and one of them sent rogues to attack us at our vacation house in Miami. 

Reaching home with my brother, the pack members are there to welcome us, and the Beta, Serius, commands everyone's attention, announcing that since I'm not of age to take over the position of alpha so he will act as alpha. The elders and members agreed to that but It was a mistake. 

" Princesa," I hear my cousin Nikolas call, he hugs me and asks how we are doing. After exchanging pleasantries with him, we are joined by our other cousin Kat. 

A month passed by and the heartache and loneliness grew despite having people around me and it ate me raw from the inside. I was depressed and started acting out, only angering members of the pack and especially Serius angry. Others bullied me because I didn't get my wolf at the age sixteen like my peers. 

My brother went to a boarding school in Canada. 

After my history class with Colins, I begin to play video games when the door to my room burst open. 

Diana, the bata's daughter, and Mike enter the room, looking cocky as always, those two hate me because I am better than them in training and I have more authority as heir.

"Why does she get the best of everything,"  The bitch complains. 

" leave my room or I'll mop the floor with your face," I growl, making them jump in fear. 

' So weakly pathetic,' My wolf, Stormie giggles. 

 Mike marches towards me with a grimace on his face, I roll my eyes, who does he want to intimidate?

“ Did you egg my room, Little Princess?" He asks, it's their nickname for me.

" No," I say solemnly, going back to my chair but he pulls me by the hair. I yelp and turn around, punching him twice in the face. 

Diana attacks me as well but they are no match for my physical strength as they are of lower rank. My cousins, Nikolas and Kat come in, and they attack the vigilantes as well, Nikolas has Mike by the throat, ready to end him but I shake my head, I'm an alpha, I can't allow this to happen. 

" Don't ever attack me again," I growl, making them whimper and leave the room. I felt angry at what those stupid punks did and when Kat suggested going to our usual waterfall spot, I agreed. 

We made a promise in the moonlight that come what may, we will put our family first, and we shall protect and love each other endlessly. 

We howled and I was feeling better. I smirked at them and already, Nikolas was shaking his head 

" They are opening a new club in Blood moon Territory, and it's an open invitation, please let's go," 

I pout, the blood moon pack was our enemy and neither of us was allowed to cross borders and that's what made it exciting for me, I used to sneak in there since I was only five years old and on one of my adventures there, I met a boy. 

A smile makes its way on my lips as I remember his piercing silver eyes and his jet black hair and chiseled handsome face. I was only ten years old and he was fifteen.

Flashback

" Kat do you want to go to the Blood moon with me?" I ask, she refused and warned me not to go but I was as stubborn as they come even at a tender age so, I went. After playing around and exploring the beautiful pack. I ended up injuring my leg badly, I was bleeding and a boy nearby came to me, I was startled by him because of how serious he was,

“You're not from here, who are you and what do you want? Alone,” 

I whimpered at the pain in my leg and his eyes soften, he crouched down and inspected my injury with a frown. I looked at him and immediately had a crush, he was too handsome. 

" We should clean it," He said in a velvety voice that made my breath jolt in my chest. I didn't respond and he continued

" I think we should go to the clinic, can you walk?" I shook my head when I heard clinic. No one could know that I'm the daughter of Alpha Ishamel Wulfric or else it will be trouble 

" No, I'm fine, I just overreacted because of the blood," I said confidently. I got up on my feet and turned on my heels but he held my hand, his gaze locked with mine, and what resembles a smile appeared on his lips, he said something incoherent but I didn't hear. 

“ Fine, but you can't let it bleed like that, I'll put a bandage on it," My healing was already kicking in but for some reason, I agreed to go with this young man. He was quite famous and some ladies were giggling and shy as they greeted him while we walked to only god knows where. I noticed he didn't let go of my hand and I smile, walking with my head held high. 

Some girls snarled while the boys looked at him like some sort of cool kid. He was. 

Taking me to a beautiful place with Christmas trees around a beautiful water fountain, he sits me down on a bench and leaves. A few minutes later, he's back and cleans my wound attentively. 

“What’s your name, princess?” he asks in a gentle voice. 

“Princess?”

“Hmm, you look like one,” He says. 

“ Will you be my prince? No or my knight in shining armor like the movies! since you helped me,” I ask happily but he shakes his head, I frown a little disappointed but after moments of silence he speaks

“I will be your god of war, the one who will bring the war to the people who hurt you,” His eyes shine and I smile from ear to ear,

" Ares!" He chuckles in a cute short way and asks again.

" What's your name?" I contemplate telling and he caresses my cheek, looking into my eyes and something within me shifted. No one has ever looked at me with such intensity in their eyes and my lips parted 

" Aurora, my name is Aurora," 

He repeated the name in awe, and kissed my lips softly, " Aurora, my Aurora," 

My heart was pounding in my chest, my very first kiss. Oh lord. 

A loud ruckus disturbed us and we turned our heads in that direction. He stood up alert, he was angry and his aura was... I gasped, he's an alpha! This means, there is a possibility that he's the alpha son of the Blood moon pack 

" Wait for me, that's my little brother," He mumbles and left, I waited a few minutes but it was getting late, I continued to wait until I couldn't as the guards approached. They smelt a stranger in the land

" Hey, Are you the girl-" Before they could finish their sentence, I was running out of there. Hiding through the slums as they followed me until I reached the border. I didn't see my god of war again, yet I dream about his silver eyes.
