The men go and I stand against the glass wall, watching the city. 

" We'll find her," My beta, Michigan assures me. " I tried, she has not shifted yet," 

 " But she's twenty-one,"

I get up and go in the bathroom, letting the cold water on my body and when I get out, I find my pretty witch has gone.

My eyes trail to my phone, Alexander is saying someone saw a woman who looks like Aurora.  Grabbing my car keys, I rush there.

 

AURORA POV

Coming to the royal clan after years feels surreal. The vampires have been gracious and are helping me adapt. In the three months, I have been here, I attended five council meetings and I was surprised to see the respect I got there and I was sitting at the head of the table. 

I breathe in and push the large door open. This is where my dragon is. In a huge dark room lies the most beautiful green dragon I've ever seen, it has a long body and large wings.

I approach the sleeping beast. I was told that the good witch put it to sleep so that it would remain sane without me.

 I look back at Elder Mateo, he was my mother's closest friend and my godfather.  He nods encouragingly and I raise my hand to touch it. A blinding light appears around the room and my ladies-in-waiting gasp, shielding themselves. 

I smile as my childhood memories come back to me, all of them. I'm playing in the garden with my dragon and mother,

' Aurora, where are you, baby?' My mom had a sweet voice. I was feeling emotional and tears ran down her face. The light disappeared and I was taken elsewhere. It was dark, and pouring heavily outside

' Attack!' I heard screams and little me was scared, running and searching for my mother through the huge passages. My eyes opened just as a silhouette approached me. 

" You have being shown the memories we took from you as a child, dear," 

 My godfather says as he guides me out of the lair, I am suddenly feeling lightheaded and my legs give up but he catches me before I can hit the ground. 

Elder Mateo takes me to my mother's luxuarious suite and lays me on the bed.

 I cry loudly while he comforts me by telling more about my mother. She was indeed a brave woman and I hope I can be half the vampire Queen she was.
