An address was immediately sent after the text message. Amara’s grip on her phone tightened as she felt all the fear she had been warding off, concerning Duncan’s situation, come true.

She couldn’t believe it. It was one thing when that bastard tried hurting her, but now, Duncan, someone who wasn’t in any part related or part of her mess, was now being dragged down her rabbit hole and being held hostage.

She didn’t know why Tobias would go to such length, nor did she care. She had to save Duncan.
